Ayahuasca is the name of a ceremonial drink in the Amazon region, which changes the state of consciousness and perception and whose tradition has been preserved to the present day. The Ayahuasca DJ team, formed by Angélica Mora (Perú) and Thorsten Rothenbacher (Germany) in Darmstadt / Germany, takes this idea as a model and combines traditional with modern electronic music, which draws both Latin American and European audiences into its beat.
