Here's the main battle theme from Final Fantasy 6 reorchestrated in 8bit.
This is NOT a real chiptune song, it was made by emulating pulse waves with Magical8bitplug. Maybe one day i'll grow a pair and delve into trackers. Mostlikely upcoming, other battle themes, and maybe chiptune redos for training. Hope you'll enjoy this. Too much bleep, could have trimmed it honestly.

Let chip go - LSDJ Frozen cover, UNTZ edition

This is an early preview of an FF7 cover I did to experiment the LinkSync function in LSDJ where you can basically double the polyphony of your song by using two gameboys.

Sounds like shit because the two output weren't even the same length despite playing in sync and I had to timestretch them manually. 

This is the raw output straight from BGB emulator. It needs proper panning and EQing. 
Also the song has some mishaps but here it is i guess. Real gameboy version soonish i hope.

Here's the first few bars of Chibi-tech's "Love in insecurable", on a Gameboy.
Originally composed for a Famicom, i wanted to hear what this could sound like on a gameboy.

Raw output from LSDJ on the BGB Emulator, two linked gameboys + 2dB Bass and Gain.

This is a WIP, part of a training program i'm doing to master LSDJ, and it still lacks a LOT of stuff to even begin sounding like chibi-tech's song.

She's an artist I respect above all.

Messing around with Sylenth presets is fun. Composing and mixing electro stuff is hard. Kinda happy with the lead but the rest is kinda shit especially the nonexistant structure. Features a cool snare sample provided by Zanski and chip drums i made with LSDJ. Hopefully i'll extend on this...

Here's a wip attempt at reproducing a song I love in LSDJ.
All the sounds were produced and recorded using bgb gameboy emulator (hence meh sound) and lsdj. Original Song composed and produced by Porter Robinson ft. Urban Cone, released on Astralwerks.

Post prod in FL Studio, just an EQ and a bit of master verb.

Here's a cover of Madeon's epic track "Imperium", entirely produced and recorded on a GameBoy DMG01 with LSDJ.

This song is both a technical exercise and a tribute. I know it's still a bit rough around the edges and some parts aren't as accurate as one would wish, but this is a labor of love. I really hope you percieve that while listening.

I also secretly hope Madeon will hear it and appreciate how much I love his music. I plan to make a lot more Madeon covers in the future, but to really do them justice, i'll need to link up two Gameboys. Imperium was, oddly enough, one of the only Madeon songs that didn't seem to require additional polyphony.

Here's an LSDJ cover of a very good song. Tbh the anime is kind of bad but god this opening is good. Cool harmonies, cool bass, cool groove, great melody... Getting the chords right was kind of a challenge. I'll repost a 2GB version soon, because of some effects and tidbits I still want to add, but i'm still happy about how it turned out. Johann Kotlinski you're a genius.

Try Unite! - Nakajima Megumi LSDJ Cover

Trey Frey's Flight, although a snippet, has to be one of the most impressive feats of chipcraft yet. In my opinion it is. Here's an attempt at figuring out TF's magic madness. This is not intended to mimic the song 100%, i see it more as a technical exercise in LSDJ. Hope you like it.

Everything was recorded straight from the Gameboy then slapped together as is. I might not even do mastering of separate tracks because this is something i'll only play Live, with the permission of its original author.

Trey Frey - Flight Preview LSDJ Cover

This is intended to test how the Gameboy Pocket sounds with LSDJ. It gets a bad rep because #nobass but i'm here to prove naysayers wrong !

Dark Circus update

Here's an attempt at making the Dark Gym battle theme.
Duality between circus horns and spooky stuff abloo bloo.
I think I kinda sorta went overboard on the dramatic effects and stuff

Hopefully this doesn't sound too much like a Ghost-type gym. I'm thinking that the Ghost-Grass trainer will have a fairly more ethnic theme so it's kinda fine.

Dark Gym Battle (First try)

Here's a skeleton of the would-be gym leader battle theme.
I purposefully composed it on piano so that we can rearrange it according to each gym later.
I fear it's a bit too close to the original themes though but there is hopefully some stuff worth savning. Shoot !

I think it could fit a preschooler encouter tune, or a "captured" jingle, it also has the "Follow me" chord scheme so whatever the poeple wants I guess.
