This is what happens when you spend a few months tracking Metallica's Blackened on a Eurorack modular synth, diy ARP 2600, an Ambika polysynth and a pile of Moog mother-32's.

I finished mixing and mastering this track on Halloween 2021 and finally decided to share it here. I arranged this piece so that it would be in the style of a horror soundtrack from some 80's slasher!

The main voices are recorded on the TTSH (diy ARP 2600), a pile of Moog Mother-32's, and an Ambika polysynth. Since drums like this don't exist in the modular world, I built a Nutella Tsunami (designed by Tesseract Modular)sampler and loaded it with a metal drum kit that I was able to control via its 16 cv inputs. The creepy bell sounds were performed on a diy Mutable Instruments' Elements clone.

I was a scrawny, skinny, weakling of a nerd until I fell into a misplaced barrel of toxic chemical waste and was suddenly transformed into a hideously deformed creature of super-human size and strength.
