At the weekend I found a box of DAT tapes in the loft that have been up there for over 15 years. Most of them were live recordings from the Oblivion events I used to promote in Bournemouth, but one tape was labelled simply as ‘hardcore mix’ and on it was this set of 1993-1997 happy hardcore. I have no recollection of making this tape, but it must be from around 2003 as this is the style of set I used to play at Oblivion. I have never uploaded this before, I had forgotten all about it until finding the tape, so I hope you enjoy this set which is quite different from what I usually play now. Track listing:

My "Officially Semi-Unofficial" remix of The House Crew - Keep The Fire Burning, for a competition to win a dubplate. Done in the 1994 breakbeat hardcore style, with all the pianos, stabs, beats & breaks.

This isn't the "full" version, it has some dips and edits and whatnot, not that anyone is likely to pirate it or anything but I can't give this away I'm afraid.
