Fables

My entry for the AVA trailer music competition. My entry for the AVA Trailer music competition. For this competition you are restricted to using the supplied samples and sounds [in their raw form]. Entrants have to process, twist, manipulate, and create an original piece [cyberpunk style] from only these sounds but are allowed to compose and build their own percussion parts. It was a fun exercise where I had to wear the hats of composer, arranger, sound designer and mix/mastering engineer.

AVA Trailer Competition

A retro Jazz/Funk cinematic piece inspired  by composers of the 60s and 70s, such as Lalo Schifrin and John Barry , Don Ellis, Jerry Goldsmith. etc The style used in movies such as 'Bullitt', 'The French Connection' and the many Cop / Private Detective television series of the period.

Former studio manager at Crash Rehearsal Studios. I have performed across the UK and as far out as New Zealand where I performed as a member of The New Pacific Music Ensemble. I have an Honours degree from Leeds conservatoire and an MA in Composing for Film and Media,  (Merit) from Thinkspace Education (partnered with Chichester University).
