Paul Crucq (1979) is an Amsterdam based multi-instrumentalist singer songwriter. His first musical love for the violin has broadened to a wide range of instruments used in his compositions like guitar, piano, didgeridoo, drums, wah wah tube, cans and boxes and anything that can create a rhythm, all played by himself and added with his polyphonic vocals and samples of sounds that the modern city brings forth. His classical background combined with influences from swing, jazz, folk and a strong and tender sense for improvisation brings to life an internal world of solitude, anxiety, longing, love, comfort, dreams and hope through sound and song.
