With their danceable and cinematic arrangements, the 4 musicians present their very own sound: the warmth and fragility of acoustic instruments meet the precision and energy of analog synthesizers and sequencers, carried by complex, polyrhythmic drum patterns and enveloped by detailed sound design. The skillfully produced compositions create an overall dramaturgy that belongs as much to the concert hall as to the dance floor.

"First Dawn On Planet B." lets us dive into the world of NORLYZ. Their music is inspired by techno, jazz and world music and in the more than 60 minutes journey we are drawn into and awed by mystical sceneries. The music is like a soundtrack for our imagination creating unique and unseen worlds.

Quiet and soloistic parts like the beginning of the opening track SPARKLE, the handpan solo of ELTANIN or the conversation between bass clarinet and cello in ORGAN SYMPHONY, alternate with danceable grooves that set everything in motion. It is a continuous play of contrasts in which both the fragile acoustic instruments and the driving beats can fully unfold. Everything moves forward in a continuously building tension that is just waiting to be discharged.

After their live debut at this year's Fusion Festival and shows at Detect Classic Festival and Sisyphos Berlin, "First Dawn On Planet B." is the first LP of the project based in Berlin and Hamburg. A live video performance of the single DJEMBÉ was released on July 29, and another video will be released for FIRST DAWN ON PLANET B..

Blindsmyth's second album "All That Fiberglass" received quite some love after its release in February 2022. Several of the titles found their way both into the sets of many DJs, as well as the playlists and charts on everybody's favourite platforms.

Should you previously have been following Connaisseur, you will doubtlessly already be awaiting the remixes which usually succeed an album on our imprint. A format we have loved since our beginnings and for which, in all those years, we were rarely disappointed by our choice of remixers. The same can again be said about the interpretations for Blindsmyth now, with his originals offering a leeway for remix possibilities. Since we have again gathered a rather diverse collection of remixes, we have decided to release them in four parts.

Leading the charge for „Refiberd Vol. 3" is Norwegian electronic duo Ost & Kjex, who deliver an unexpected banging remix of "Connection Error". Known for their fun-driven yet sophisticated approach to electronic music, Ost & Kjex infuse their remix with a demanding bassline and a relentless energy that will make dancefloors quake with excitement. With their unique blend of techno prowess and subtle pinches of electro and disco, Ost & Kjex's remix of "Connection Error" is a true standout.

Adding a dose of bouncy deep house vibes to the mix, Deep Aztec steps up with a remix of "Delete Your Cloud". The South African-based producer masterfully weaves together melodic basslines, organic percussions, and infectious vocal samples, creating a feel-good and danceable deep house rendition that will keep listeners moving from start to finish.

Last but not least, NORLYZ brings his unique touch to "Uberfahrt" with an electronica/breakbeats version that takes the original track to new heights. NORLYZ's remix is a mesmerizing journey through intricate beats, atmospheric noisy textures, and captivating melodies, seamlessly blending electronica and breakbeats into a sublime and immersive sonic experience.

Die erste EP von Blindsymth nennt sich „Secret Walls“ und ist zugleich das Debütrelease des Labels Cosmic Society. Der Track basiert auf Samples, die Blindsmyth in einem Bunker aus dem zweiten Weltkrieg, in seiner Heimatstadt Schweinfurt für einen Improauftritt aufgenommen und zu elektronischen Drumsets verarbeitet hat. Zu seiner Inspiration sagt Blindsmyth: „Jeder Mensch trägt in sich eine Art Bunker, in dem er seine tiefsten Gefühle versteckt, vor sich selbst oder vor anderen Menschen..“
