In this song, an old man recounts his exploits---during long years of travel and warfare under Alexander the Great.  He is telling this tale to his young grandson, Lysander, as he puts him to sleep.  I recorded this back in the early 90s at Karl Caillouet's studio next to Anderson Fair.  My friend, Max Dyer, is playing cello and Chris Wardwell is playing one of the lead guitar tracks---the one with the volume pedal that sounds like 'whale song'.  I'm doing the other parts: acoustic and electric guitars; bass; vocals, flute.

This is a rough demo of an instrumental piece for guitar and violin/cello that I wrote over the past couple of weeks.  The voice is sketching the violin part.
