Today I turn 25, and here is my first music album. 

This music project is better understood with headphones. The reason why certain voices are only heard in the right ear is because I only hear from my right ear. Two years ago, I survived brain tumor surgery and woke up half deaf with a face disability. Since the day I woke up, I love my life. 

The first time I thought of making an album with people talking rather than songs with lyrics was when I discovered Frank Ocean’s album : Blond.e, my favorite album, in which you can hear skits/interludes where people are actually talking (Be yourself, for example). 

All those people you listen to weren’t aware that they were being recorded, except for myself. I still call it an album, but it feels different to me sometimes. I wanted it to be some kind of intimate reflection of life, but with an obvious musical aesthetic.

I made everything by myself, the reason why the mix is so unprofessional, and far from my ideal expectations. Nevertheless, I challenged myself to produce everything, and I’m happy about that. 

This picture was taken at the hospital by my oldest friend Gianni, 3 days after my brain tumor surgery, in July 2022. It’s an amazing picture, thank you.
