There’s a certain ease with which Paul Kenny moves between instruments, machines, and the dancefloor. Born in Naples, Paolo Canale grew up with music always within reach — first through guitar and keyboards, then through the pull of club culture that would ultimately shape his path. What began as a curiosity soon became craft, as he learned to translate emotion into rhythm, releasing on vinyl and digital, both solo and with collaborators under the Bhoo project.
From Naples to Riccione, from Belgium to beyond, Paul has left his mark on clubs and festivals where the energy never fades. For years he held down Arenile, co-founded the Clubbingzone project, and built nights that brought international names to local stages — a journey that has seen him share booths with artists like Solomun, Nina Kraviz, Joris Voorn, and Stephan Bodzin, yet always with his own sound at the center.
What defines Paul Kenny isn’t just the list of names or venues, but the way he builds an atmosphere. His sets carry a natural flow — sensual, hypnotic, and designed to draw dancers into a space where time bends to groove. It’s music that doesn’t shout for attention but holds it, creating memories long after the lights come on.
Now, for MUSICUNEED, Paul Kenny brings that philosophy to MuNcast: a carefully sculpted mix that reflects both his history and his vision, keeping the dancefloor alive with the kind of energy that only comes from experience.

My debuts on She's Super Records with the superb Gira Sole which features three excellent cuts. This one marks his first outing for us having previously scored great support remixing Steel in the Mood by Stradivarius in June 2017. Gira Sole intros with a very nice thumping kick drum and shuffling hi hat combi which are soon joined by some nasty work on the synth and bassline that provide a steady rhythmic flow. A spoken vocal comes in which sets the mood for the atmospherics to follow their trippy path. Surreal keys and swirling FX boost the hypnotic groove as a subtle bass keeps the low end moving nicely. Top notch stuff not to be missed. Merlino sets out with a pumping kick and bass over a minimal balanced drums arrangement which are the main ingredients here and they sure do make a tasty groove. The break features a cool vocals which is followed by sharp synth keys that add a sublime characteristic to the groove. This one just ploughs on with the discerning clubber in mind, superb stuff. Elements of Life offers a warming deep end vibe which starts off with a tight kick over a floating filtered bass and chords. Bright hi hats cut through a sub level bass that adds lush tones to the groove as screeching FX deliver a mesmeric flavour. The break throws up some beautiful subtle vocals and fx before we're pulled back into full on mode for the duration. A definite must have for sure.

Paolo Canale, aka Paul Kenny, DJ and producer, was born in Naples in 1983.
From an early age, he was drawn to the world of music, learning to play various instruments, particularly guitar and keyboards.
Over the years, his passion for music, especially club music, led him to experiment with music software, starting to produce for numerous record labels and releasing his tracks on vinyl and later digitally.
He was a member of the production group Bhoo, along with Luciano Fm, G. Viscovo, and Gastek, collaborating with many international artists.
Paul is a regular at the most important clubs and festivals in the Naples and Riccione area. He was a permanent fixture on the Arenile decks for years with various staff, and co-founded the Clubbingzone project, which has hosted many memorable parties with many international DJs. He has also been a frequent guest at various clubs in Belgium, such as Millenium, Batoclub, and most recently Bivouac.
He's shared the decks with guests such as Apollonia, S. Bodzin, Steve Bug, Rodriguez Junior, F. Kalkbrenner, Oxia, Joris Voorn and Sven Vath, M.a.n.d.y., La Fleur, Pig & Dan, Timo Maas, Uner, Nic Fanciulli, Nina Kraviz, Ralf, Coccoluto, Solomun, Hosh, Cassius, Tanzmann, Jamie Jones, Josh Wink, Radioslave, Guy Gerber, Omar S, Martin Buttrich, Alex Neri, Satoshi Tomiie, JoeTVannelli, PastaBoys, Ben Westbeach, Ben Pearce, Riva Starr, Subsonica, Motel Connection, Phonique, Osunlade, Noze, DJSimi,
