This closing set was recorded in a rooftop in Bali called Oasis Above, in the first event of Melodeep in the Island of Gods 💫

It’s one of those rare moments where I could play freely and fully express myself—with a selection that moves between melodic, deep, and emotional grooves.

Expect unreleased gems from close friends like Canvi and Raysoo, blended with powerful releases from artists I deeply admire, such as Musumeci, Alican, Yost Koen, and others.

🌐 I believe DJ sets should be more accessible—this is how electronic music can be truly experienced: beyond the club, beyond the moment.

This was the closing set of one of the most energetic events in Bali: La Piscine Électronique at Le Bajo, Pererenan.

Macarena has been protecting Barcelona's underground sound for decades. Not many venues can say that. There is something about playing in a room where the culture is already in the walls before you touch a single record.

This was a Radar (by Rythmia) night. I had the pleasure to play along with Valderrama and Last Men on Earth, artists that I admire. The kind of curation that makes a night feel intentional from start to finish. Grateful to all the team for it.

Sidral is the one I look forward to every year.

Playing here feels like playing at home. The castle fills up with friends and with people who care about this music the same way I do, and you feel it in the room from the first record. Closing it is an honour I do not take lightly.

The power went out near the end of my set. These things happen. What came after was better than anything I had planned: Clemente proposed we finish it back to back, and we did. He is an artist I admire a lot and playing next to him was a pleasure.

Closing Set + Surprise B2B with Clemente for Sidral @ Castell de Cartellà | House & Indie Dance

This year I had gigs where I had to adapt too much. My closing set at Boris Club wasn't one of them.

It was an honour to share the lineup with Argia, who played a very stylish set and left the room so hot that nobody was thinking about going home. She is an artist I have admired for a long time and I was so happy to finally meet her.

I started deep and let it get more housey as the night went on. Nothing in this set is there because it was expected. That is the whole point of a closing.

Filling a club in Barcelona in summer is not easy and everybody in this city knows it. But the people who came stayed until the last track and gave everything they had. That is worth more than a full room.

Melodeep Therapy Episode 1

Born in a small village on the Basque Coast and based between Barcelona and Bali, Paul Larrozea began his journey as a DJ after connecting deeply with electronic music during his time in Budapest in 2015. Since then he has been a defender of the values of electronic music, through his content and in his performances both locally and internationally.

Elegant, dynamic, and heart-warming: his music adapts to any environment, but groovy rhythms and melodies that stay with you are always present. He thrives in extended sets where he can guide the audience through a full emotional arc, from warm-up to closing, building nights that take you somewhere unexpected and bring you back changed. His record to date is a non-stop 8-hour set in Chiapas, Mexico.

He plays a mix of indie dance, house, and melodic house and techno, sounding more organic at daytime environments and going more techy at night.

Being not just a DJ led him to found Melodeep, a label built around one conviction: music should make people feel, not just fill a dancefloor. Beyond the booth, he documents the craft and shares what most artists keep to themselves, convinced that a healthier, more conscious scene starts with artists who give back to it.
