More Than 2 years after his last solo project, François X returns with an EP on his new platform, XX LAB.

Recorded prolifically during covid this record unveils an innovative approach to techno from François, by incorporating modern pop and rap productions techniques he has developed over the period like arrangements and Vocal FX (all the vocals loops and FXs are his).
There is a profound sense of creative freedom in how François X’s music has evolved recently. Shifting from academic techno structures in his previous work, to a more brutal and edgy aesthetic, François has definitely unleashed his productive spirit.

The opening track “Forever’ N' 'Fever' represents a prime example of this imaginative boiling mind, setting off the EP’s murky tone with its evocative trappish vibe. This driving effervescence brings out a remarkable plurality in the tonalities of the compositions, swinging between the prompt and fiery club-ready atmosphere of "Lone Wolf Cabin'' to the ecstatic and emotive chemistry of "Shame Stare". This paradoxical structure can also inform us about its creator, as a retranscription of the emotions that run through him.

Challenging his role as an artist, the selfishness that comes with it and the limit of his dedication, François X is acting as a contemporary cow-boy, deeply entwined with his utopian dreams.

bright, uplifting break and the reworked synth make the original approach shine in new brilliance - a perfect contribution to the EP.

For more than 1 year, the Russian government under Wladimir Putin has been ruthlessly attacking Ukraine and its people – inducing and waging a war that nobody needed. Communities, cities, and whole regions were destroyed, people assassinated, murdered, expelled, and harmed in so many ways – with more and more war crimes and atrocities to be discovered. After the military offensive, more than 18 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance in Ukraine and beyond the borders. We cannot end this war but privileged to keep on living our normal lives in central Europe, we feel the urge to help. This is why we decided to donate all proceeds of this release in favor of the people that are suffering. As trusted and experienced charity organization, UNHCR will use these donations to support the people in Ukraine as well as refugees in neighboring countries. Derby-born and London-based producer Bailey Ibbs returns to his Night Service label with his third release, 'Posture Damage EP'. This time, his energetic brand of techno gains an even more dynamic edge. The journey begins with 'Make Me Feel,' a powerful, percussion driven track that
commands the dancefloor with a familiar vocal. Next, 'Posture Damage' brings back a pure, stripped back techno groove, blending sharp percussion with ambiguous sounds. The 'ASMR'- inspired 'Unsociable Hours' adds another layer to the release with its captivating vocal samples and relentless energy. The EP concludes with 'Posted Up North,' a more subdued, loopy number that offers an fun and direct finish to the record.
