The whole melodic-technoid thing might be well established already. However, believe it or not: Seth Schwarz and Westerby take it to a yet another level. Their track Aphelion has truly symphonic dimensions and opens a hidden bonus stage in the heads of the dancefloor. Here you can easily lose yourself in a morphing maze of kaleidoscopic patterns that is the multi-layered flow of the melody. Excellent fuel for collective high-altitude flights. NordFold & Budakid provide a remix for all those who prefer it a bit more minimalist, whereas Mollono.Bass lives up to his signature style and pushes Aphelion a notch further towards boost and pressure.

Das melodisch-technoide Ding mag sich bereits bestens bewährt haben. Aber, so unglaublich es auch klingt: Seth Schwarz und Westerby heben es hier nochmal auf ein ganz neues Niveau. Mit Aphelion stoßen die beiden in symphonisch-technoide Dimensionen vor und öffnen dabei in den Köpfen der Tanzfläche ein verstecktes Bonus-Level. Darin kann man sich in den fließenden Kaleidoskop-Mustern der vielschichtigen Melodie ganz wunderbar verlieren und austoben. Perfekte Voraussetzungen für einen kollektiven Höhenflug also. NordFold & Budakid kredenzen dazu einen Remix für jene Zeitgenossen, die es gerne einen Tick minimalistischer mögen und Mollono.Bass schiebt Aphelion mit routinierter Geste eine Idee weiter in Richtung Rumms.

Sol Selectas new release welcomes the return of Ulises who featured tracks on the last two Summer Sol mixed artist compilations, but this time returns with his own EP also including remixes from David Mayer, Geju and Roderic.

Argentinian artist Ulises has a downtempo style that blends ambient textures with earthy percussion and aboriginal chants to create chugging grooves with hallucinogenic sound design. Along with Sol Selectas his tracks and remixes have also been featured on LNDKHN, Exotic Refreshment, Cosmic Awakenings, Kamai Music and MoBlack Records.

Germany’s David Mayer is a highly sought after remix artist who has worked with labels such as Mobilee Records, Stil Vor Talent, Get Physical, Bedrock and Objektivity. Having reworked the music of people like Rampa, Audiojack and Claude VonStroke, he previously featured on Sol Selectas in 2018 with a remix of Zakir and is now making a much-anticipated return.

Sol Selectas presents Global Entry, a new compilation series which features 11 original tracks from various artists around the World. While our summer series focuses on the feel good summer time jams, this comp will be an outlet for the even deeper, psychedelic, left-field music, we receive from so many talented producers. The idea is we all enter a new musical dimension , through a unified global portal, a doorway which anyone from our planet is invited to access. The only requirement for admission is originality, emotion, and a funky groove. “Global Entry” grants the listener easy access to this pathway which leads us into the cosmos. 

On this first volume have music from Germany, Argentina, Italy, UK, Spain, Russia, Morocco, France, and Israel. We go from downbeat heartfelt melodies,  to wild disco, to energetic tribal, to desert grooves, to afro tech, to Balearic beach - all in one orbit. 

This comp series is a new outlet for Sabo to continue releasing incredible music that gets submitted for the label. While full EP’s are not always an option, this comp gives new up and coming artists, as well as established ones,  an opportunity and platform to share their audio vision, and to be heard by the larger dance music community.

Sol Selectas is very pleased to present  Re:Imagined album by Satori. This album features 3 originals from Satori, and 6 re-imagined songs  from the Sol Selectas back catalogue.  

Since the success of his remix of Unders’ “Syria” track in 2017, Satori has taken the dance music world by storm,  touring the globe both as a solo artist, and with his newly formed “Band from Space”, and holding a summer residency in Ibiza called “Maktub”.

Once a year in his hometown, Satori does a special 10 hour live set mixing his original music with songs by other respected producers.  It was during this 10 hour set that he literally Imagined the idea to produce an entire album of Sol Selectas back catalogue reworks.  With each Re:imagined song, Satori dives deep into the origins of the music, discovering the cultural influences, geographical location of the samples, and researching the roots of every sound present. The result is a musical composition which takes the listener on a true cultural journey around the globe, and back to the Universe itself. 


The artwork by Helia Jamali honors the origins and roots of the songs in the album, with elements  that represent each place, sound and vibe. The heavenly being seated travels between the stars and galaxies, reimagining time travel.
