This week's song is brought you by myself and co-writers Melissa Fuller (who I wrote Gentleman with) and 17yr old writer/artist Ella Mae Bowen. Ella Mae brought in most of the idea but said she didn't feel like it was finished, so we tightened up the sections, re-wrote much of the verse lyrics and added a bridge. If songs are emotions, the underlying emotion here I think is vulnerability. The realization that you're totally leaving yourself wide open.
