I’m Hungry - I’m Starving

You asked me if I wanted to come over. In the gap before answering, I thought, here’s the thing: I could look for parking, wonder "is it something I ought to be sparking?"

I could spin the block, revel in the knowledge that it’s never going to look the same the next time I go round, I let out a sound, I open my eyes and look down at you.

That’s when I realized I never answer

I guess I come off uncouth. I’ve never been all that smooth.
You trust me awkward. You wouldn’t have me any other way.
