"Lost In Time" was composed immediately after "Ignite The Spark". After listening to "Walk Away", I wanted to follow on from where that track left off. I felt the need to re-use the same synth sounds.

This track began it's life around August 2019. I didn't get round to recording bass until Boxing Day and it took until July 2020 before I recorded rhythm and lead guitar.

The clarinet bridge in this track I actually wrote when I was about 8! My uncle used to let me borrow is Casio keyboard. I had no idea about notes or music but I remember lying on the floor playing this little melody over and over again. Anyway.. it has finally made it into a tune 30 years later.

The mood of this tune reflects how I often feel.. Sometimes in this modern world of handheld devices and cold social ignorance, I long for the 80's where people had less to do and more time to spend with friends and family, technology was sparse and easier to fully comprehend. Some days I feel as though the world has left me behind and I'm lost in time..
