Use to be part of a much longer tune but I chopped into two parts - part 2 will be completed after another project!

Broken Part 1

Hard to put a genre on this track. This track will take you on a journey through life and music. It is progressive in nature so expect changes as you progress - life is a journey and it doesn't remain the same.

This tune was my second attempt at recording guitar back in 2018.

Trials of Life

This tune is dedicated to an amazing woman who came into my life and left an everlasting mark in an extremely short time. She brought happiness and feelings of joy some many never experience in a lifetime.

The human brain often clouds what we see by fear and emotion. Sometimes it's our own worst enemy. 

Now that she's gone, "Hope" is all that I have left and the memories that will never fade.

Broken - Part 2 - Hope

I actually wrote some lyrics for this tune. Unfortunately my voice didn't suit the track. I've had a couple of offers from singers to give it a go - I may give vocal recording a go at a later date.

In the meantime, I let the lead guitar do the talking..

"Walk Away!" .. those two words can be interpreted in many different ways.. "(Can't) Walk Away" was one of them..

Returning back to my roots a little here.. After "Walk Away" I wanted to experiment more with synth sounds, arpeggios and the likes. My goal was to create something smooth and relaxing that I'd almost classify as "bath tub music". At the end of the day, it's still "Paul music".

Be sure to set aside 10 minutes of interruption-free time for this journey. Hope you like it.
