Treibend und rumpelnd, schlammig und funkelnd - versumpft mit uns krüglich und lauschet dem Sumpfophon. Eine Reise beginnt, die Krüge sprießen, Äuglein schließen, Öhrchen spitzen. Der Sumpf ist unruhig, Schallwellen treiben ihr Unwesen.

Komprimiert man Zeit und rafft Momente zusammen in einen Krug, ist es möglich sich all die Gefühle welche in dieser Zeitspanne widerfahren sind, auf ein Mal zu sich zu nehmen. Vorsicht mit dem Zahn! Der Zeit, er ist schneidend und scharf. Rafft ihrs noch, also die Zeit? Etwas spät. Voll den Zeitraffer...

AHAB bringt uns from dusk till dawn! Oder from musk till swamp?
Durch die Entwicklung seines äußerst sensiblen Photonen-Detektors, gelang es ihm die letzten Sonnenstrahlen der Dämmerung punktuell auf dem Boden des Morast im Unterholz ausfindig zu machen und in ihre äquivalenten Tonmuster zu konvertieren. 

Eine Geschichte die den Weg des Lichtes inmitten der Finsternis samt ihrer typisch mystischen Nachtschattenb(l)ässe noch tiefer treibt. Früh morgens im nebligen Glitzerschein des Morgentaus, wärmen die Strahlen der aufgehenden Morgenwonne die Auas des Afters, sitzen is nicht - das Holz knackt im Takt - genau wie AHAB!

Wow. Eine Woche ist unser Festival bereits her und ich bin immer noch im Kopf nicht wieder angekommen. 
Mein Set auf unserem eigenen Festival war für mich sehr emotional. Ich hab dieses Mal nach hinten raus das Tempo ein wenig mehr angezogen, weil nach mir schneller gespielt wurde, ich nach ein paar Discosets im Sommer mal wieder Lust auf ein paar mehr BPM hatte und vor allem die Tanzenden sehr mitgezogen sind. 

Was wir als Team, aber vor allem mit der Hilfe aller Besucher*innen hier auf die Beine stellen konnten ist Wahnsinn! Danke an der Stelle noch einmal an alle Beteiligten. 
Deko, Licht & Booking waren meine Verantwortungsbereiche, aber wirklich gut sind alle Dinge nur durch die kreative Zusammenarbeit aller geworden.

▌I How do you make use of technology?
To produce music, we like to have a mix of old and new school. The combination of VST's and some analogue synths is what defines our sound.

▌II Which tracks marks a highlight in your set?
Around the middle of the set is a track that we made together with Biljana Pais. We are proud of this one as it blends various genre and has a deep melancholic touch. 
Perfect soundtrack for the berlin winter depression. 
To be released by the end of the year on Amselcom...

▌III Could you take us through a day in your life, from a possible morning routine through to your work?
To be honest, not really a daily routine in our lifes. We are both working on the side and one of us has a child, so everyday is a new day :)

It’s finally here! After a couple of years of providing music to the world through mixtapes and parties, the time has come and it kind of feels like a circle is somewhat closing as our very first compilation is seeing the light of day. 

This selection features eight amazing artists whose music we admire - including some good friends, many Schleichcast Allstars and yours truly, two of our collective's members. We love how all tracks stand for themselves in their unique styles as they cover a strong variety of soundscapes, moods and subgenres, but come together like puzzle pieces representing the multi-faceted nature of downtempo. 

We thank all artists involved for your trust in this first-timer-project. It’s an absolute honor and we're super proud being able to release your beautiful music while we take our first baby steps towards this label thingy. <3
