Aurora's Christmas Anthem

An attempt at a lyrical piece for my grandchildren at Christmas. A simple story which encourages them to dance. It's Christmas Eve at the toy shop and the piece opens with the doorbell ringing as the shopkeeper leaves for the night. Once he has left, the toys start talking to each other and moving about the shop. The teddy bears form a band and start playing, then the ballerina dances and pirouettes, followed by the toy soldiers marching to the beat of the drum. Ultimately, all of the toys in the shop are moving around and dancing. However, the celebrations are brought to an end with the sound of the shopkeeper opening the door having returned unexpectedly. A teddy bear and one of the toy soldiers hasn't noticed and continue dancing for a while until the other toys grab them and they all rush back and return to their shelves.
