Oscar Muñeton a.k.a DUBCODE es un DJ y Productor de Música electrónica, nacido en la ciudad de Medellín es Ableton Certified trainer y Moog Pro Specialist. También se desempeña en el área académica, como un instructor experto de síntesis de audio, live performance, producción musical y sistemas híbridos para DJ´S para la Escuela de audio y Sonido de Colombia. Es fundador y director de ADVANCE un centro académico de formación avanzada en técnicas y tecnologías para la producción musical, dj y live performance. Su pasión por la música y su deseo de fomentar la cultura electrónica en su país, han motivado a Oscar a siempre dar lo mejor de sí mismo, y ponerlo al servicio de los demás.

Oscar Muñeton a.k.a DUBCODE is a DJ and electronic music producer, Ableton Certified trainer and Moog Pro Specialist. He also works as an expert instructor in audio synthesis, live performance, music production and hybrid systems for DJs at the School of Audio and Sound in Colombia. He is the founder and director of ADVANCE, an academic center for advanced training in techniques and technologies for music production, DJing and live performance.
Oscar Muñeton a.k.a DUBCODE is a DJ and electronic music producer from Medellin, Colombia. His passion for music and his desire to promote electronic culture in his country motivated him to always give the best of himself in service to others.
His classes generally focus on the use of various musical technological tools along with music creation software such as Ableton Live, while captivating the enthusiasm of his students

Si hablamos de Paula Cazenave, hablamos de Techno y de una larga trayectoria.

Nacida en San Sebastian-Donostia y afincada en Barcelona desde 2003, Paula ha paseado su maleta desde finales de los 90 por las mejores salas y festivales de todo España, Europa y Sudamerica destacando su presencia en eventos tan importantes como Awakenings, DGTL, Brunch in the Park, Dreambeach, Aquasella… 

Sus comienzos los pasó compaginando sus estudios de realización de audiovisuales y técnico de sonido con eventos los fines de semana en salas de todo Euskadi. Cuando se muda a Barcelona comienza a pinchar y organizar fiestas con colectivos locales en salas como La Cova haciéndose un hueco importante en la escena de la ciudad condal hasta hoy.

Como artista, nos encontramos ante una dj de las de verdad, sin florituras. Sus sesiones son construidas al más puro estilo old school: Técnica, mezclas rápidas e inteligentes, versatilidad y eclecticismo. Se caracteriza por enganchar al oyente en un viaje sin descanso que puede englobar desde el groove hasta el dark más crudo, siempre con esa seña de identidad propia inconfundible. No podemos encasillar a Paula en un subestilo concreto del Techno, pero sí decir que estamos hablando, la mayor parte de las veces, de contundencia. Desde sus comienzos, sus influencias vienen de artistas tan dispares como James Ruskin, The Advent, Ben Sims, Surgeon o Slam, por citar algunos. Estamos hablando de una artista en una evolución constante que ha sabido adaptarse a los tiempos siempre fiel al Techno.

​En su faceta como productora nos remontamos a mediados del 2000, cuando empezó a editar producciones de Techno en vinilo en el mercado a nivel internacional. Sus trabajos durante las pasadas décadas en solitario y con A.Professor con otros akas como Daisychain y Secret Labz dieron sus merecidos frutos logrando así hacerse un hueco más importante en la escena internacional con giras europeas y grandes festivales. Cabe destacar también las referencias en vinilo que salieron en su primer sello Grind Records cuya primera entrega tuvo una gran acogida en 2009 hasta agotarse, recibiendo el apoyo de muchos djs influyentes de la escena. Podemos encontrar producciones suyas en gran cantidad de sellos europeos hasta día de hoy.

​Desde el 2017 se encuentra inmersa en la gestión de su sello discográfico Combine Audio donde han editado artistas reconocidos de Techno como Ben Sims, Ken Ishii, DJ Shufflemaster, Patrik Skoog, Gayle San… junto a más artistas consolidados y emergentes. Combine Audio se ha hecho un hueco en la escena de sellos de techno nacional y ha recibido el apoyo de muchos artistas a nivel mundial. Como ella bien dice “Este sello no es para mi, es para todos” y con él pretende dar apoyo a muchos artistas nacionales para mantener la escena viva y hacerla crecer.

Al frente de Devotion Records [@devotionrecordsofficial] y desde el año 2000 dedicándose profesionalmente a la música electrónica, el brasileño Lucas Freire (@lucasfreire) es el artista invitado a You Play I Write en su edición 46. Una impecable selección de techno recién producido (o que está a punto de aparecer) con varios tracks de su propio sello, que gestiona junto a Fernanda Martins.

If we talk about Paula Cazenave, it´s about Techno and a long career.
Born in San Sebastian-Donostia (North of Spain) and settled in Barcelona since 2003, Paula has been walking her case since the late 90s through the best venues and festivals in Spain, Europe and South America, highlighting her presence in such important events as Awakenings, DGTL, Brunch in the Park, Dreambeach, Aquasella ...

Her beginnings were spent combining her studies of audiovisual production and sound technician with events on weekends in venues throughout the Basque Country. When she moved to Barcelona, she started DJing and organizing parties with local collectives in venues such as La Cova, making an important place for herself on the Barcelona scene until today.

As an artist, we find ourselves in front of a real DJ, without frills. Her sessions are built in the purest old school style: Technique, fast and smart mixes, versatility and eclecticism. She is characterized by hooking the listener on a journey without rest that can encompass everything from groove to dark and raw sounds, always with that unmistakable signature. We cannot classify Paula in a specific Techno sub-style, but we can say that we are talking, most of the time, of forcefulness. From her beginnings, she was influenced from artists as diverse as James Ruskin, The Advent, Ben Sims, Surgeon or Slam, to name a few. We are talking about an artist in constant evolution who has known how to adapt to the times, always faithful to Techno.

In her role as a producer, we go back to the middle of 2000, when she began to edit Techno productions on vinyl in the international market. Her works during the past decades alone and with A. Professor with other akas such as Daisychain and Secret Labz paid off, thus achieving a more important place on the international scene with European tours and major festivals. It is also worth mentioning the vinyl references that came out in Patterns records and on her first label Grind Records, whose first release had a great success in 2009 until it sold out, receiving the support of many influential DJs on the scene. We can find his productions in a large number of European labels till today.

Since 2017, she has been immersed in the management of her label Combine Audio, where she has released works by recognized Techno artists such as Ben Sims, Ken Ishii, DJ Shufflemaster, Patrik Skoog, Gayle San ... along with more established and emerging artists. Combine Audio has carved a niche for itself on the Spanish techno label scene and has received the support of many artists worldwide. As she well says "This label is not for me, it´s for everyone" and with it she intends to support many emerging artists to keep the scene alive and make it grow.
