Odd One Outside. 

A technical marvel of biblical DIY proportions. A group of wild finns climbed uphill with a generator, dj gear and cases filled with sensitive equipment designed for a less daring environment. Reaching the moderate summit, they dug a hole in the snow for Yotto to play a dj set in. Frozen fingers, technical difficulties and lost drones did not slow down the brave expedition. Includes a wild amount of unreleased music from Yotto and his label Odd One Out.

Mexico's Tenampa is back with another dose of hot selections.

Stepping into the podium is Stelios Vassiloudis. An artist whose sound has transcended the dance floors for its emotional narrative and hypnotic rhythms. Teaming up again with Nils Nuernberg, who has a modern approach to House Music and with previous release on Poker Flat Recordings. They repeat the formula of a deep melodic voyage. Using a strident lead synth that slews echoes and sultry charm, engrossing the listener under a misty hypnotic haze.

Berlin based Marco Resmann graces the release with an outstanding Remix. 
Marco, who is best known for his Watergate residency and his Upon You label, takes things tougher, and with a sophisticated sci fi edge, completely changes the vibe, adding a Techno feel and that will for sure do some serious damage on the dance floor.

We all long to be seen. To be loved and accepted exactly as we are. 
Unconditionally - this is the term we hear and use every day. Such a desirable feeling and such a beautiful thing to strive for, but are we getting it? And are we able to give it?
I have been exposed to a lot of rejection in my life and I say this with complete acceptance and even gratitude. It truly hurts, but there is no doubt it has helped me learn and grow. 
During my most recent feelings of rejection this song came to me. It was there for me, allowed me to reflect on what happened, helped me understand and process the universal pain of feeling unwanted. May it do the same for you!

The ways of music association are weird and surprising. Originally, the intention was to use a number of cue points from the awesome Jacques Lu Cont remix to spice-up this fine Kalkbrenner minimal track.

Then something happened during recording practice. At first I didn't really notice how I accidentally started both tunes simultaneously from the first beat on, but then it struck me: both tracks went on and on for minutes without ceasing to sound like being best friends forever.

The rest was merely playing out the intended cues. Live performances of this mashup tend to vary during the guitar riffs which makes for a very distinct flavor each time I play it.
