Sara Parkman and Paula Temple met each other through their work with Fever Ray and her album Plunge which both were involved in. When Parkman wanted to give her critically acclaimed neo folk album Vesper a new more electronical costume, it felt given to ask Temple to add her beautiful and hard techno style to it. What we hear is a mash up between the old and new style of dancing - polska and techno. It’s full throttle, excstasy and monotonic beauty.

Celebrating 10 years of existence with a statement, Berlin’s GEGEN is releasing a solid 3-part compilation, grounding their work of the past decade into the newly founded label’s sonic aesthetic by showcasing the artists that have been at the heart of the infamous party series. This VA is a bundle of 30 tracks hailing from the true ride-or-die residents at the core of the project to the headliners whose support have propelled the collective from day one as well as up-and-coming artists that Gegen takes to heart to support.

Curated with our love for techno’s history of diversity in mind, this release travels through different subgenres and BPM and takes you from classic techno to industrial, hardcore to breakbeat, deconstructed to acid. Noise Manifesto proudly celebrates 10 years of subverting the techno sound with a fabulous 4-part compilation showcasing 18 artists.

The artists were carefully selected for their unassuming brilliance and represent a broad spectrum of bodies and techno subgenres. This is a queer positive world Noise Manifesto was dreaming of in 2012 with only a Manifesto and music as a starting point. Now 10 years later, Noise Manifesto celebrates by bringing together artists from Syria to Poland, Japan to Netherlands, Northern Ireland to United States, the blooming queer collectives and the modern twisters of old school. This is a celebration of the interconnectedness of our scene.

10 YEARS of Noise Manifesto presents techno comprised of sonic storytelling (L Ʌ V Σ N, Linn Elisabet, Ayako Mori), classic (Hemka, Lindsey Herbert), punk (Angel Karel, Samantha Togni, Sentimental Rave), industrial (Jassass, Hybral, Lesser Of), fast-paced (OCD, WTCHCRFT), rave (RIOTCODE, Esther Dune), acid hardcore and gabber (Femanyst, Tymon). To conclude the celebration there will be a bonus track from Paula Temple.1

Known for her relentless style of techno “V.” is also a proud demon mommy of the very reputed label ‘The Meaning Of Rave’ and not just that, she was the reigning head behind the two very first legal events held in the pandemic times, The Meaning Of Rave 48h x Las Palace and a movie shooting plan TMOR CAMP 2021.
Ever since the very young age of four, V. has been deeply connected with music and its culture. Five years ago she discovered her true love for hard electronic music and she started pulverizing dancefloors around many clubs in Poland, all around Europe and even Colombia or Costa Rica.
Veronique’s taste in underground music is very vast. She owns a unique skill that melds hard-pounding rave style drums with schranz, oldschool and industrial sounds topped off with flared of emotional melodies and she showcases this by driving her engines on 3CDJs - ‘An absolute she-devil on the decks’!

Vienna-born and Berlin-based DLV is not a blank slate in Europe’s techno industry. He defines his music as a realm of sinister peak-time Techno. A strong focus on productions and his DJ career made him score an underground hit called “Rave Instructor“. This heavy dance-floor weapon achieved some big support coming from techno royalties such as Amelie Lens, Regal, and many more.
