L'autre jour je cherchais un truc dans le frigo.
Ma femme me dit : "Mais qu'est-ce que tu recherches avec frénésie ?"
Du tact au tact je réponds : "Frénésie ? Frénésie, elle n'est pas là ! Elle danse le cha cha cha"
Et hop ! C'est partie. Me voilà qui recherche les rythmiques du cha cha cha.
Comme d'habitude, je commence la composition dans un style (ici le cha cha cha) et elle se termine en tout autre chose...
J'ai utilisé les VST D'East West et de Steinberg pour les instruments.

Voici un travail musical et chanté sur un texte magnifique de GEM.
Je ne suis pas chanteur. C'est enregistré à l'arrache dans mon bureau avec un micro cravate.
J'ai un peu bidouillé avec le delay : bref soyez indulgent !

Les accords sont ceux de A SKY FULL OF STARS de Coldplay.
La mélodie vient d'un de mes sifflotages que j'ai harmonisé
L'accompagnement est réalisé grâce aux arpégiateurs de Cubase
Les riffs ont été créés avec Riff station

Le texte évoque pour moi l'exaltation d'un amour naissant. Il croit à un avenir radieux d'une destinée magique.
Ma proposition musicale se veut donc joyeuse et pleine d'espérance.

I am not a singer. It's recorded on the fly in my office with a lavalier microphone.

On déambule à marée basse pour le camaïeu gris et bleu des plages et pour le scintillement des falaises des côtes anglaises qui sont visibles par beau temps.
A marée haute, la mer reprend ses droits auprès des caps Blanc-Nez et Gris-Nez.

Bach Is Back

J'ai toujours été fasciné par le Rock !
Je m'y suis essayé plusieurs fois avec plus ou moins de bonheur.
On me disait : "mais c'est pas un rock !" ou encore : c'est "mou du genou" (en français dans le texte).
Cette fois, je crois bien que je tiens mon bourdonnement d'abeille.
