6 years ago I had no idea what i was doing. I had bought a Mixtrack Pro 3 off Ebay, and wanted to restart doing mixes. I'd started researching the deper, slower progressive sound of the trance world, and thought I'd enter a mix competition with it.

I didn't win, but people enjoyed it. So i thought it would be cool to reupload this as part of my Podcast, as a bit of a throwback to where it all started.

Hello and welcome to episode 100 of Mind Therapy Radio.

Wow. Episode 100. It doesn't seem like that long ago that I started this little project. I don't profess to be some renowned super star DJ, I'm just a man who enjoys his music. The heavier the better haha. 

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, and the podcast by listening, sharing, commenting, messaging me about it over the 100 episodes. Your support is massively appreciated, and it really means a lot.

This was recorded live during a livestream on twitch, which wasn't without its technical hitches. OBS at one point decided to just stop working after about 20 minutes and was rather glitchy for the rest of it. The show seemed to go well however, and I'm glad that the recording turned out ok as well. I'm still working on getting things better, but it all seems to be going in the right direction.

Track of the episode was a difficult one. It was fun seeing other peoples reactions to various tracks in the live chat, but for me it had to be Stan Kolev - Manifest. A ridiculous track from the man who never misses.

Mind Therapy Radio Episode 101

Hello and welcome to the start of the next cycle of Mind Therapy Invites shows.

I'm really excited to start this project again, and I'm pleased to welcome brainbow to the first episode in this iteration of the guest mixes. He has provided an excellent mix, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. He's been djing for about 6 months, and has done a few live shows. His club debut is happening at Altered in Birmingham on the 31st May, and he has got a few other live sets on the way as well.

Track of the episode for me was Cendryma - Effective loss. What a fantastic track that is, and the cheeky throwback at the end is the rather excellent remix by Simon Doty of La Roux's in for the kill (I was lucky to hear him play it at Fabric when he was doing the B2B with marsh, it went off!)

Paul BTW live at Progressive Sessions

Hello and welcome to the first episode of my new show for 21c Progressive House. This show is called Discovery, and it will be solely based on free music. Bootlegs, unofficial remixes and free downloads that are available across various online portals. There will be an episode roughly once a month, and they will all be roughly an hour long.

For me this was a really great episode to record. I had a lot of fun finding the tracks and it gave me a kick to restart doing my mixes.

There's a few artists and tracks in this episode, and there will be throughout the forthcoming episodes that you wouldn't expect work will as deep house/progressive house tracks, yet they do. Mind Therapy Radio Episode 105

The home of Paul BTW and Mind Therapy Radio.

I started my electronic musical journey in 2008. I used to run a radio show first on EM Radio, and then on Trance Energy Radio that used to showcase the latest in Tech, uplifting, and emotional trance.

Over the years I have moved to a more progressive sound, and during the first lockdown I started a Podcast called Mind Therapy Radio which is dedicated to progressive trance, and the deeper side of electronic music. I have played a number of live shows at Anjunalounge in Birmingham, as part of their DJ showcase evenings, and more recently with Craig O'Brien aka OBZ under our Progressive Sessions Project.

I made my club debut at the Hare & Hounds in Birmingham in August 24. I had a great time, and am looking forward to doing more.
