Smooth Groov - Pre Release

This is a little talking heads - moon rocks house remix I did... sorta that big boom room sound I was going for... Seems I lost the project file somewhere, so until I find it, this is not finished. There was much I wanted to do on this one, but since I havent uploaded anything in a while, I figured I can throw this up as its finished now that I cant find the project..lol

I have not been playing with my gear much at all lately. I asked a music loving friend to suggest a song that I could remix. Shakedown Street by the Grateful Dead she responded. So here it is...

Shakedown Street ( House Remix )

I wanted to stick close to the original. The vocal had me melting and the song was great to begin with. So many great elements, I wanted to keep them all and I almost did. I wanted to make a deep house track, but I felt this fits more with the original song and complements it in an upbeat uplifting way without straying to far from its roots..

I live and work in Toronto and plan to do that for long into the foreseeable future. I love the city, the people and the music created within. I Dj, produce, and manage.
