Fredfades needs little introduction. The Norwegian DJ and Producer has been around for a while, consistently gracing the world with glimpses of his deep knowledge of music, encapsulated in a prolific output of self-produced Jazz LPs, remixes and DJ mixes. With a consistent feel for the warm and organic, Fred contributes a summer themed mix to 5918mins. with mostly 80’s and 90’s mid-tempo low-fliers to be enjoyed at the beach or on road-trip. Situated somewhere between electro, street soul, afro-house, acid-disco, boogie-rap, hip-house and techno, this mix goes down like a buttery burgundy. Cheers!

The very much in demand Dutch producer and DJ Eversines steps up for our 116th Phonica mix with over an hour of his own productions!

If you are just getting on the Eversines train you have missed quite alot of stops but its not too late to catch up. Having released on a wide range of labels like Slow Life, Nous'Klaer Audio and the label he co run's De Lichting; Eversine's (real name Remco Hazewinkel) has been considered an array of styles spanning techy, euphoric and ambient variations of house. These diverse styles has been showcased into his sets; ambient, deepness alongside pulsating acidy bass into pumping driven moments that have caused a sweat and huge clubs and festivals like the recently close De School and Dekmantel. We are delighted to have Remco added to our long running mix series with over an hour of his own productions from start to finish. Universal Cave

Emerging from the Romanian scene back around ten years ago as an accomplished DJ and producer, Bucharest's Funk E has been on a circuitous path since then, taking in gigs all over the globe as well as a residency at Underground in Ibiza. 

Despite releasing on a number of prominent labels, he's always kept a pretty small footprint; focusing on quality rather than pumping out a stream of tracks and mixes.  This one is no different and hints at an artist who's been steadily refining their craft.  In it you can hear the evolution of his sound; clearly with one foot in the Romanian landscape in which he cut his teeth but possessing an uncommon sophistication and depth.
