Originally Released in 2001, these three songs were part of a small run of CD's for an EP entitled 'Tenuous'. Matt Coe very kindly recorded the first two tracks for me on his brand new digital 8 track! The last song was recorded live at The Corton Hut, near Lowestoft, UK.

Multi-tracked, original acoustic song: acoustic guitars, bass guitar, harmonicas and vocals. Written and recorded in December 2018 by Paul Gillings.

Fed up with trying all the time? So am I, that's what this song is all about. Original lyrics were way harsher but had to mellow it down (also pretty personal about a certain individual!). I found the art in describing things to sound more general than specifically about someone. Pretty proud of the harmonica solo at 2:09! :-)

Trying All The Time

Instrumental. A simple two chord run round played on acoustic guitar with some harmonica noodling over the top. Really just a practise session for me as I try to expand my repertoire. The improvised melody line is played on a standard D Major diatonic harmonica.
