Funk Mediterraneo Live Mix (JUNE 023)

This is my 2 hour set for Funk & Flair at Southport Food & Drink Festival, 2nd June, 2023.
All the DJ's were from Andy Parkinson's Audiobook and Channe's House of Ivy, Southport.
I decided to include a lot of my favourite personal mixes that I have used before so if you have listened to some of my mixes you will be very familiar with a lot of the tunes.
3 reasons - Great tunes, lots of 'civilians' enjoying the Food Festival and getting them to buy cocktails from FlairNFunk.
I think this will be my summer 2023 mix to be played at as many events as possible/invited too !

My new house/funk/disco 2 hour mix for an annual private summer/garden party in Birkdale. Southport.
A mix of up to date tracks with some remixed old skool tunes thrown in to add some flava.
I kept my usual 'live' last 2 tunes to create a sort of calling card.

Born in Liverpool then moved to Southport in my twenties.  Music, of all genres, has played a very important role in my life but it was hearing, for the first time, the 12 inch version of Donna Summer's 'I feel love'  that caused the House/Dance music epiphany.
This was soon followed by more mind blowing discoveries within Techno and Acid House.
All of which brought peace, love, unity and more and more great music.
