The ODD / EVEN (@ODD-EVEN-1) label project from Germany is headed up by established producer @Andre-Kronert and with only a small amount of releases under its belt, has already featured artists like Jonas Kopp, Pfirter, NX1, Jeroen Search, Dimi Angelis amongst others.

Their sixth offering called By Night EP is the newest package from production juggernaut @Johannes-Heil-Official from Frankfurt, who is known for releases spanning the likes of Heiko Laux’s Kanzleramt, Sven Väth’s Cocoon and Len Faki’s Figure.

For this DT:Premiere we selected track two simply named “By Night Part Two” that wastes no time by launching into a tough and driving rhythm. The pressure builds from delayed waves as they open up with intensity and become the main focus under the jackin’ beat. A fine DJ tool is created that is full of energy and hypnotic bliss in the right hands.

The highly regarded @BeAsOneimprint ran by @ShlomiAber has been undergoing a transition of late, moving into more serious Techno and featuring artists such as Eduardo De La Calle, Truncate, Jeroen Search and Markus Suckut for example. It’s an exciting prospect to see the switch happening with top quality releases flying out of the now Barcelona based stable.

The forthcoming release comes from the label boss himself and shows first-hand the sounds he is now championing after a star studded back catalogue on legendary labels like R&S, Josh Wink’s Ovum to Sven Väth’s Cocoon.

Part two from the Out Of Place (@out-of-place-735125464) records camp is finally here. Based in Croatia, the new label project is ran by Volster and @Miss_Sunshine who introduces her new alias Insolate following a release highly respected imprint from DJ Deep called Deeply Rooted in France.

Renew is a vinyl only release that covers hypnotic and glitchy sounds to energetic acid influenced flows. The second original track we chose for this DT:Premiere goes by “Deep In The Shades” and it’s moody, driving style is totally compelling. The eerie atmosphere and modular twangs make this a real functional DJ tool with heaps of character.

DEAD CERT. Records is a label linked to the well known website deathtechno.com ran by Jack! Who? in the UK. A diverse palette has seen their previous releases feature music from artists including Audio Injection / Truncate, Hans Bouffmyhre, Joachim Spieth, Miss Sunshine, DJ Spider and Eomac to name but a few. 

The latest EP is from deathtechno.com staff member Juan Trujillo, originally from Venezuela, now calls Buenos Aires, Argentina his home. The Simplecoding label boss makes his debut release for DEAD CERT. following a well received single track "The Sossial" and with EPs on Alex Bau's 43 Recordings, DJ Hi-Shock's Translucent and Re:Axis' Monocline for example, he is certainly making the right moves. 

The first of two remixes here is from Newrhythmic label boss Jose Ángel Palacios Robles aka Joton. The in demand Spanish artist has worked alongside artists such as ROD, UVB, Paul Mac, Radial, Jeroen Search, Bas Mooy and many more with a back catalogue including !Organism, Juan Sanchez's FORMAT and Planet Rhythm to name but a few. 

Vegim Hashimi makes a return to DEAD CERT. after his EP featuring Joachim Spieth last year, this time he supplies the second remix. The TMM Records owner based in Kosovo is known for his creative production styles with music on the likes of Rebekah's label Decoy Records, Reaktivate, The-Zone and A.Paul's Naked Lunch amongst others. 

The first original track "Retrogrado" begins with a thundering kick and instant dancefloor appeal, as the rising melodic pads deliver the hook that is undeniably attractive, whilst full of tension and power. 

Joton is the first remixer of Retrogrado, who brings a quality old school flair of an unrelenting yet surprisingly subtle rolling rhythm. Shuffling snares inject even more energy and take the original to new hypnotic heights. 

Track three is the remix from Vegim who flips the style into a surging beast of rough textures and quirky one shots with a gated hook. Funked up and dreamy, this multi faceted piece displays soul hidden deep in the depths. 

The last and second original track "Impulso" shows a somewhat South American touch of tough beats and flavour locked into the drums. Haunting atmospherics and a siren like call add more engaging elements to this serious work.

"Royal Mail" is the new celebratory series to coincide with the labels 4th birthday this year, enlisting a particular artist to create new remix impressions from the labels back catalogue of original music. 

DEAD CERT. favourite Callum Plant from Manchester (UK) is the product of a thriving Techno scene and he continues to be on the rise after music released on Lex Gorrie's Unknown Territory, Ill Bomb Records in New York and Floor Ready in Scotland amongst others. 

XHEI is known for quality Techno visions that has found his music land on CLR, Sleaze, Micro.fon, Illegal Alien and many more. Callum adds a signature stomping beat to an already heavily rotated track, where "Requiem" has picked up support from Alan Fitzpatrick, Tommy Four Seven, Sam Paganini and many more. 

Belarusian artist Energun known for works on Rebekah's Decoy and beyond released a four track EP called Psychology in 2014 and Callum takes on "Developmental" with a fierce and pulsating energy adding suspense and eerie atmospherics. The main hook is transformed into a gritty and swirling rave fuelled synth that evokes plenty of aural pleasure that is sure to devastate dancefloors. 

Regular DEAD CERT. contributions from TMM Records owner Vegim have been highly regarded, including the Signal Handling EP that featured a huge remix by Affin's Joachim Spieth of "Digital Fracture." A tough groove uses elements of the original to set the scene in part, allowing Callum's own stamp to take shape with a completely new and unique interpretation that has some extra hypnotic angles. 

The final rework is a track exclusive to the labels first vinyl release and featuring the label bosses themselves. William Welt collaborating with Jack! Who? the Editor of deathtechno.com on "Lurker" where Callum gives it a grooving, dubby twist with a broken beat and scything synths.

Leandro Gámez and Nico Arianoutsos aka Resonic join forces in this new and esotheric project.

Three tracks cooked with the loops generated by Resonic in his Octatrack and his Reaktor software, arranged and mixed by Leandro Gámez, exploring the edges of raw textures, broken rhythms, abstract atmospheres and also four to the floor kicks aimed right for the intelligent dancefloors.

-"Ursula" starts with broken beats and filtered rhythmical textures that evolve until the dirty beat is completed with sharp cabasas and white noises. Futuristic drum’nbass you can call it.

German heavyweight label Nachtstrom Schallplatten is dropping an album from the duo known as Joyless.

A vibrant project made up of none other than Funk D'Void and Dave Tarrida that have already released on Housemeister’s AYCB label and Martyn Hare’s Emetic, following an EP earlier this year on Nachtstrom with a banging remix from Clouds under the new alias.

From the abstract and experimental selection of tracks on Tyranny Of The Majority we selected “Dark Horse” for this DT:Premiere for it’s bouncing sinister groove. The stuttering heavy toms lay the ground work, combined with plenty of twisted effects and sweeping atmospherics, it still manages to hold a sense of fun amongst it’s gritty sound.
