Moisk is a project of Vilnius based Alex Pletnev and man of a world Logeshen Moorgan. In 2020-2021 duo released two records with I Lost My Poncho In Istanbul records and with Pleasure Express records. Since covid club blockade is finally off, Moisk started to explore more an area of uptempo techno and trance. In 2022 guys are planning to release some of new music via Warning records.

Mix for Why People Dance is compiled of hypnotic techno, breakbeats and minimalist trance. Besides has unreleased and forthcoming music by Moisk itself.

I grew up in bavaria in the middle of the alps, close to the border to austria. When i started collecting records, i found a lot of records which remembered me of my childhood. I even found more interesting stuff and was overwhelmed from the output from those small countries and areas. So I decided to make a little mix series for you guys!

Wir sind stolz, dass sie auch für uns einen exklusiven Mix beisteuert! Keine geringere als Princess P, aus Bern! Wenn man bei Ihr über eine Stilrichtung reden möchte, liegt man falsch. Hier wird zusammengebracht, was zusammengehört, überraschend, aufwühlend und wo es einem leicht fällt einzutauchen.  Ein feines Gehör ein sehr feiner Mixstil runden diese Frau als Djane ab. Jahrelang hat sie für Plattfon Records in Basel gearbeitet, eine der Perlen unter den Schweizer Plattenläden, und die musikalische Agenda des Stores im An- und Verkauf mitgeprägt. Hinter den Tellern steht sie in renomierten Clubs und Festival, wie in Zürichs Clubinstitution Zukunft, im Elysia in Basel oder während des altehrwürdigen Montreux Jazz Festivals. So genug geredet, jetzt heisst es reinhören! Viel Spass auf der Reise!

Our next highlight is in front of the turntables and this in the literal sense.
We are proud that she also contributes an exclusive mix for us! None other than Princess P, from Bern! If you want to talk about a style of music with her, you are wrong. This is where she brings together what belongs together, surprising, stirring and where it's easy to dive in.  A fine ear and a very fine mixing style round off this woman as Djane. For years she worked for Plattfon Records in Basel, one of the pearls among Swiss record stores, and helped shape the store's musical agenda in buying and selling. Behind the plates she stands in renowned clubs and festivals, such as Zurich's club institution Zukunft, the Elysia in Basel or at the honored Montreux Jazz Festival. Enough talking, now it's time to listen! Have fun on the journey!

SW002 - Princess P - Take That

Mit "Clone Radio" stellen wir euch wohl den bisher experimentellsten Podcast unserer Reihe vor. Aufgenommen von einer besonderen DJane und Künstlerin aus Weimar - @nora_nahoj.

Nora lernte ich auf einem kleinen bescheidenem Festival in Thüringen kennen, wo sie (gemeinsam mit Lino - @linol_music) ein Set am Sonntag spielte. Musikalisch ging das von Ambient bis hin zu kosmischen Dub - genau das richtige damals. Ich fand Nora's Output so besonders, dass ich sie fragen musste, ob sie nicht Lust hätte für uns einen Podcast aufzunehmen.

Entstanden ist dann eine Listening-Session mit viel Spoken Word Einflüssen, Prog-Rock ähnelnden Soundeinlagen, Slow-Acid Phasen und seichtem Wave.
Wir sind froh und dankbar darüber, dass sie hier bei uns mitmischt. Ein toller Podcast!
