Simina Grigoriu is back with a new EP dropping this summer on her new imprint Kuukou Records (meaning "airport" in Japanese). The EP is called Techno Monkey/Nina Princess and consists of the two tracks including four other banging remixes, but it was "Ninja Princess" that really got our attention with its sonic explorations of the tropics; lots of percussion, luscious vocas and last but not least; the beautiful shimmering synth pads adding a fine layer of summer time melancholy.

Oh boi. The impeccable Henrik Schwarz redubbing Sven Väth's classic 'Electrica Salsa' - a truly remarkable feat.

The track was first released back in 1986, when Sven (at the age of 21) was a member of Frankfurt project OFF, alongside Michael Münzing and Luca Anzilotti. ‘Electrica Salsa (Baba Baba)’ changed the face of electronic music in European pop culture, achieving top three success in France, Austria and Germany at a time when dance music was still regarded as an underground movement from Detroit and Chicago. 30 years later, Sven enlisted Henrik Schwarz and Roman Flügel to provide remixes of the track.

Best known for his work on Innervisions, !K7, and Defected Records, and acting as one half of the acclaimed duo Schwarzmann alongside Frank Weidemann - Schwarz has dedicated almost his entire life to electronic music production. The atmosphere created in his newly formed Electrica Salsa is one with gated reverberated snares and percussive hits, little melodic stabs, and sneaky space synths to what makes one feel as if they are inside the Mos Eisley cantina... with Sven Väth whispering in your ears. Binaryh bounces back to Steyoyoke Black with two original productions under the 'Boolean Logic'. This EP is a mirror image of the necessity to find right and wrong without considering the paths which brought us to our conclusions.

'Algorithm' sets the tone for the EP with a tantalizing, haunting melody. The algorithm behind 'Algorithm' can be deduced through noting the simplistic, yet powerful, manner of arrangement, coupled with the art of storytelling brought forth by Binaryh.

'Parallels' can be heard as a reflection of our environment's innate reasoning behind similar behavioural patterns with opposing views. Parallels, contrastingly so, find ways to operate with respect to reacting to the other. The contrast of the deep bass lines with the sharp, piercing synthetic sounds showcase a human's unfathomable desire to be different, yet accepted.

Binaryh has conveyed his artistic talents through two all-encompassing tracks to create this 'Boolean Logic' EP, telling an important story of history, logic, maths, and philosophy along the way.
