WASTING TIME

The Paul Kunne Band is Queensland's Sexiest Covers Band - They are fun, modern, versatile and entertaining specialising in funky party classics.
Led by virtuoso guitarist Paul Kunne, fronted by the beautiful Shoshanna Rose and backed by groove robots Oscar Chandra (bass),  Jeremy Sandroussi (keyboard) and Mitchell Benham (drums), this 5-piece has a great funk/rock/pop fusion sound, aimed at crowd-pleasing, and with very danceable songs with a fun stage presence. 

The band formed while studying music at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in 2012.  They take classic tunes and add a funky twist to keep it fresh and modern and we take turns improvising as well. They are experienced performers who just love to see people have a good time. They do funk-ified covers by Michael Jackson, Madonna, Stevie Wonder, Prince, The Bee Gees, Amy Winehouse, Bruno Mars, Daft Punk, Beyonce and more, and are also a great jazz band if you're looking for a slower, more 'chilled' start the evening and then picking up the pace later on.

They are slowly building our fan base with showreel recordings and social media, and with performances at venues such as Cloudland, The Press Club, The Boundary Hotel, in the Queen Street Mall, and the QUT Botanic Bar.
