For the third edition of Earthcast, we're honored to welcome a true pioneer of the underground electronic scene: Scott Braithwaite, founder of the influential 90s label Fragmented Records. With a career spanning decades, Scott has been instrumental in shaping the deeper realms of house and techno, both as a DJ and as an A&R visionary.

Fragmented Records, established in the mid-90s, became a cornerstone for deep and forward-thinking electronic music, releasing works from artists like Dan Curtin, Morgan Geist, Jay Denham, Chris Gray, Paul Mac, and Jaime Read. Beyond his label, Scott collaborated with Craig Walsh under the alias The Cause and curated seminal compilations such as Techno Nations, Deep States, and Elements of Jazz, featuring legends like Juan Atkins, Dave Angel, and Drexciya.

Although he's no longer DJing full-time, Scott continues to share his passion through guest mixes and radio appearances. His extensive vinyl collection, amassed since the mid-80s, reflects his deep-rooted love for house, techno, and electro.

In this exclusive Earthbound mix, Scott delivers a fast-paced journey through deep Detroit and UK techno, nodding to the 90s while casting an eye toward the future. Expect a masterclass in groove, rhythm, and timeless energy. @scott-braithwaite

Me and Ben thought it would be fun to play a long DJ set together at Globus, the upstairs floor at Tresor in Berlin. 
We last played together (as Frequency 7) in May 2013. This time we played a ‘back to back’ DJ set, I’m pretty sure playing 2 tracks each for the whole six and a half hour set. All we had in mind beforehand was to start with some Dub and ‘see where it goes’. 

It was a lot of fun so we wanted to share the recording with you.
