Theater of the Mind

(This is the last known recording of Jakub Vasek playing live.) A traditional Czech tune played in the pub by the well-known duet Potocnik (accordian) and Vasek (clarinet).  This recording features Vasek’s famous improvisational and playful clarinet style, held together by Potocnik’s steady hands on the accordian.  This is the last known recording of Vasek, who spent years performing his zany clarinet stylings with many Czech musical groups. Vasek was known and loved for his unconventional and unpredictable music, but mostly for his playful style.
