At the tender age of five years The BassKid turned into a computer freak, happily grooving around with his mouse. Luckily he didn't forget to learn conventional instruments like guitar, bass, drums and keyboards. Learning real drums he walked into a bunch of problems with his then neighbours, so he turned to computerized drums to keep life more peaceful. That all comes in handy, now that he wants to be a musician. He learned a lot lot from his parents, who were playing hard rock music all the time and decorating their livin room walls with Led Zeppelin posters, so his main motivations for making music are „get up late“, „sign autographs“, „find girls easily“ and of course „be incredibly rich“. So The BassKid now has released his promising first single „Jupiter“, named after the planet standing for luck in astrology and is working on his first album. He lives with his two cats „Shanti“ and „Sushi“ in Berlin, Germany. He describes his music as „space-trance-dance“, though there are no sound waves in the universe. Of course his favourite instrument is the bass.
