Everybody loves a good mystery. The second chapter of the Nowhere Series brings you to France, Kalamazoo, Arnhem and Den Haag. Four forgotten dance floor bangers by folks who clearly remember the first summer of love, back in 1988.

First up is a dark and twisted acid track by @laurent-garnier. Flashback stems from 1997, but has aged like a good single malt whiskey from France. You better believe it.

It Talks To Me is proper Detroit techno, with it's abstract stabs and moody strings. Except it's from Poland, where US-born @d-knox now resides since 2005 and where he has pumped out an amazing discography. You can't get any closer to early Transmat-energy than with this raw track from 1995.

On the flip it is over to Holland, for two forgotten gems. Inferno came out on vinyl, back in 1993. On the legendary label Gyrate. It's a full on acid affair, with a massive break. Made by Dutchies Frederik (of Pako & Frederik fame), Eric De Man & Heiko van Eindhoven. For this release still vinyl only.

Solartrek by @roland-klinkenberg was picked up by I-F in 1995 for his Top Secret label. The energetic and surprisingly bright track is now remastered and available on vinyl again & digital platforms for the very first time.

Dutch electro producer Lloyd Stellar brings his magic touch to Exploited Club on two fierece tracks following on from acclaimed releases on esteemed imprints ranging from 20/20 Vision to Avoidant, BroknToys and Science Cult.

‘Digital Hallucinations’ takes a haunted, Burial-esque pitched-down vocal sample, drenched in reverb, and floats it over a punishing, pacey breakbeat rhythm. Bruising bass relentlessly pummels as bleepy rhythms pulse, delay and filter around the mechanical rhythms. The tripped town textures in the higher registers cut against the hard underbeat to make both your head and your body spin.

‘Hibernating Machines’ journeys further into the deep with almost tribal bass sweltering underneath mystical pad sound and modulating drones. The percussion chatters, convulsing in response to those earth-shattering sub waves, and a dizzying synth lie rises from the depths to pull you further into the hypnotic heart of this spacious track.

Dedicated to the twang of Roland’s silver baseline box with a varied string of artists: DVS1, Marko East & Jordi Chu (whose collaboration sparked the idea of a whole series), Like A Tim via Prins Thomas, Katerina and I:Cube.

The Parisian put it in a nutshell, too: „Although rinsed to death to the point of becoming a parody of itself, acid will last forever.“ Therefore, his Folie Noire is combining the original recipes with hypnotic European influences, while Marko and Jordi present a rough and direct 303-909 live jam, Prins Thomas puts his wickedest smile on Like A Tim’s Wonderline from 2005 and Katerina sets a lucid dream to sanguine music.

Finally, there is a rare and much desired musical outing by the unique DVS1. A direct ode to Chicago’s acid and beatdown styles and its Midwest companions, it is a heads-down-lights-down late night track made for driving up and down Lower Wacker Drive. Trippy trip artwork by the inimitable Gasius.

Trivia: If the piano is the bread of house music, the acid line is its butter!

After Ozzy's debut Intercept EP 'Maerts', the Dutch-Australian living in Amsterdam is back with his next offering: Obscurity Streets. Combined with 'Why Does Time Feel So Slow', both tracks reflect a more intimate side of dance music as seen through Ozzy's colourful lens. Both tracks aim to entrance and make the listener come closer. Featuring vocals of Ozzy himself, it seems like he's slowly drawing you in, only to make you realise your energies have been lifted and you're now on a fast paced roller coaster of a track. Obscurity Streets is written during Ozzy's period in Berlin, and serves as an ode to the city that never sleeps
