Mudita Records returns with its 52nd release, welcoming Pursang, an up-and-coming talent from Amsterdam, with his debut EP Sunny Delight, delivering two original cuts — Sunny Delight and Wandering Around — both offering distinct sonic explorations within deep house and minimal. Sunny Delight is a subtly captivating track, with lush textures, warm grooves, and hypnotic stabs. Wandering Around takes a more introspective path, with deep atmospheres that slowly unfold, creating a dreamy yet grounded house vibe. On remix duties, rising French talent Basic 96 brings his signature energy and tight groove work to Sunny Delight, adding bounce and rhythmic complexity. ZAQ (ITA) transforms Sunny Delight into a mysterious, slow-burning minimal roller, featuring soft pads, spaced-out textures, and a driving, elegant groove. A well-rounded EP perfect for deep dance floors and mindful sessions alike!

Sweely comes crashing through the windows of the Distant Hawaii beach house HQ with a humungous, stomping, NY-Jersey inspired EP that combines war drum level percussion with soulfully flowing vocals and lush pads galore.

All The Reasons has done the rounds for a while now and it's an absolute monster. Massive heaving kicks rumble under clattering hats and a soft, woozy pad and hawt-as-hell vocal flourishes.

Following on a similar tip, Around is a more extended affair, morphing from a brooding down-pitched moaner to a arm-throwing, hip-slinging Jersey banger straight outta NYC.

On the flip, Yes He is keeps the New York house vibes flowing on a slightly more low slung tip. One for the slow summer Sunday terrace dance. Lastly, Blue Faces takes a plunge into the deep blue, skin fizzing with the cold caress of salt-water and seaweed on freshly sun-kissed skin. One for the sunset and sea-lovers.

While we’re less sure about who/what Momios is and why they/it should be fought, the acid and jazz parts of our premiere are self-evident. Fighting Momios With Acid And Jazz is the B1 cut from the upcoming second release of Leicester label, Flat White. Bogota’s Felipe Gordon is the artist behind the record that encompasses a lot of what we like at Bolting Bits: flavours of house, disco, techno and interesting blends of samples and original instrumentation.

The "Deep Fried Banana" EP is a five-tracker featuring a remix from The Last Trip To Gandahar, whose work we’ve premiered before. There isn’t a track we wouldn’t buy on this record, but our premiere is the stand out for us. While the percussive elements cut in and out, dusty-sounding jazz piano samples and a looped acid synth-line staple this track almost all the way through. It’s one of those pieces of music that feel like every part is completely intentional – even the rough bits are supposed to be rough. Felipe Gordon has built an impressive resume for himself recently, with releases on London’s Quintessentials and Berlin’s Toy Tonics, and we’re happy we can play a part in getting the word out on this guy, because his future looks bright. Seth Troxler’s club focussed label, Play It Say It, welcomes a master of stripped back and dubbed out tech grooves in the form of Seb Zito, while Fuse boss Enzo Siragusa steps up to remix. 

A core part of the world-renowned Fuse party crew, Zito's distilled productions are perfectly functional, boasting the sorts of subtle charms that make them truly irresistible to legions of dancers. His warm sound has landed on the Fuse and Infuse labels as well as Rawax and Kaoz Theory. He runs his own Seven Dials label and is as revered for his resident sets in London and Ibiza as he is his studio sounds.

The excellent ‘On It’ opens things up with tightly coiled drums, adorned with bumping kicks that immediately get you moving. A soul infused vocal brings plenty of cool to the track whilst dreamy pads add warmth and depth. A dub is also included in the package for those darker, late night sets. Both versions are sure to become club mainstays. 

Remixing is Enzo Siragusa, the man behind the internationally renowned Fuse brand and a driving force in the contemporary house and techno scene. He DJs around the world, hosts parties across Europe and is known for digging deep. His version is more zoned out thanks to the swirling pads, with the orignal's vocal coming at you in a dreamlike fashion, as the knotted bass hammers home the groove. 

This is an essential release that is sure to go on to big things this summer.

JVXTA popped up on our radar this year with some tasty morcels on Clipp.Art, Homage and his own imprint Hardmatter. Now he's joining up with the Lobster Theremin guys with a beaut of an EP on their Distant Hawaii sub-label. We're showcasing the brilliant SS Anne that's fused two firm favourite samples into a late night burner thats as elegant as it is bumping. As soon as we heard this we knew it would had to get it up on SB channels ASAP!

Italian DJ and producer Manuold returns to Madhouse this February as he unveils his ‘Smiles’ EP.

Following a busy 2019 which saw releases via the likes of DJ Steaw’s House Puff and Spanish imprint Esuoh, not to mention a contribution to Madhouse’s ‘MMXIX’ Various Artists compilation, late-February sees Italian talent Emanuele Macagone, aka Manuold, deliver his first full EP on the label as he returns with his four-track ‘Smiles’ EP.

Lead cut ‘Smiles’ sees Macagone combine slick organic production licks alongside bright synth stabs and resonant vocal hooks, before ‘This Is Power’ reveals a series of hazy lead melodies atop of skipping drums and further slick vocal work. Next up, the paired back ‘Sweet Groove’ welcomes a well-worked balance of evolving synths at its core, before closing the package out via ‘Old Tradition’ – a slick, chord-driven final cut that feels perfectly at home on Chandler’s ever-impressing imprint.

Toman delivers a three track EP, consisting of his signature stripped backed production, fused with his dynamic bubbling housey basslines, over his high quality complex percussive edge. ‘Feel For You’ kicks things off with an energetic feel and is a more upfront track, while ‘Guarulhos’ tones things down with a floaty, deeper feel. Finishing the EP off, Toman swings things back round with ‘Turbulencia’; a skippy, cutting groover.
