Lyrics: It's 7:30 in the morning. I rub my eyes and roll out of bed. I'm hungry for something specific but I can't quite figure it yet. I make myself a pot of coffee. The aroma stirs 'round the air. I go perusing in the kitchen to see what's waiting for me there. I pull the milk out of the fridge now. Reach in the drawer to grab a spoon. Then i fumble with my slippers and saunter into the living room. I point the clicker at the TV, find the channel with the cartoons, and as I'm stirring in the sugar, I realize now what I should do. Because I'm not really feeling pancakes. And belgian waffles, they're delicious but they take too long to make and I don't want no savory eggs or bacon. There's only one choice that I'd take. It's crunchy and it comes in all kinds of shapes and as it falls into the bowl it makes a little jingle. Whether it's chocolate sugar fruit or plain, wheat, corn, rice or puffed whole grain, the combinations are insane, the perfect way to start your day. I want cereal.
