Manchester born producer Calle Lebraun unites with London based label MFR Records to release The Calle Lebraun EP. The EP consists of three original tracks and one remix courtesy of Calle Lebraun and will be one of the most exciting 25 minute EP’s you’ll hear.
Calle Lebraun managed to stay imaginative with Sometimes yet still enables you to relive a sense of familiarity from the soulful and emotional female vocal samples. Straight away the low bass and sharp cut synths hit you in the face and do not apologise
Going Back To Cali hotwires in the American born Notorious BIG and mixes his bold and heavy voice with a frisky British house instrumental. With Calle Lebraun taking a focus to tripped out synths, square drums and ghetto shouts, this could be the perfect soundtrack for six-foot, seven-stone models to strut down the runway to at London Fashion Week.
Devilishly good and highly polished, Calle Lebraun is giving other northern house producers a high bar to catch up to.
The beautifully elevating Waiting For You is a perfect example of what MFR Records stands for: Music For Ravers. This track spirals out of control with its punchy drums, dropped signals, barely there hi hats and steamy crescendo.
