Paul Stokes-Composer for Film, TV & the Media

Having been classically trained on piano, Paul has been involved in the Music Industry for many years co-writing albums in the USA & UK with Giantkiller and later composing 11 solo albums.  He then became a Certified Music Composer through the Film Music Institute of Los Angeles, California.  Subsequently he has scored for the film Comedy-'STIX' starring Vic Reeves and Libby Davidson, Shorts, Advertising Trailers, including Documentary Trailers and Animation etc.  Works include writing the trailers for the International Animex Film Festival 05 & 06 including the trailer Music for ‘A Century in Stone’ by Director Craig Hornby.  

In 2004, Paul composed a work 'Concepcion', which was arranged by Deborah Mollison (for the renowned Cult Classic ‘East is East’), and performed by members of the Northern Sinfonia and others.  Paul has also had music placed all over the world through Contemporary Media downloads with the major download sites specializing in Music for the Media through non-exclusive Licensing.  These number hundreds of downloads and have been used in Film TV etc.  

Paul continues to run his company Emerald City Productions as an outlet for his commercial releases and Film and Media works.
