Isnt the world in a precarious position
Seen the signs all around
Something in the air whispering to me
ghosts of ages come and past

Im not one to eat up lies with ease
Even if the truths hard to digest 
At the center of society is a disease 
A cancer they’ve convinced us is in our best interest 

Waiting and wishing for something to change
On a fundamental level
But that’s not how the world works
The problems that bother us are ours to do something about 
Deep down we all know this to be true 

Its up to us to care about it
Procrastination isn’t an option   
So speak your truth
It’s the most important thing you can do
 
Ive come to know fate has a mind of its own
But your volition can reign it in
The power we all search and  yearn for
Is one that can turn the tides forevermore

Lookin for the golden rose
Thorns prickin at my sides
Bloody and bruised  I know
I wont stop till I day I die

 I chose to get  Lost in this labyrinth
Damned if I don’t survive
I pay no tribute to no god on Sabbath

or a clue of what im meant to do

does it matter if I win or lose
as long as I keep my head in the game 

Theres no morality in  left or right   
Theres a time and place to run and another to fight
Nature tells us to survive and become king
As she, the queen, spectates this game of her own making

the destination may be at the center
but all I care to do is follow the flow
so i can coil it anew

she  s been here this whole time, guiding me

and see the maze from up on high
past, present and future is shown

Lost in the Labyrinth

she lives in the shadows of my heart
hiding out in the open, I see her everywhere
this love has been with me since the start
a mask conceals fears
she sees beyond
this façade

intimacy, she guides my hand
emotionally connects
and whispers secrets
all part of her plan
these desires
they keep me inspired
shes part of me
but not of this reality

the greatest force
summoned forth
by the light of a full moon
a delicate melody
sung in tune
at the right frequency
this demoness
I must profess
Signals our doom
Or so the book says

she craves attention
and domination
she wants to be worshipped
her hunger is endless
eyes grow wide
at a feast of energy
she wants to break through
and rule this world

she embodies destruction and creation
all paths lead from and then go back to her
shes the life giver and the life taker
morality doesn t apply
to her

she lives in the shadows of our hearts
with eyes wide shut youll see the truth for what it is
when the chalice is filled with desire
I wonder what kind of world itll be
