Lyrics:
Christ is risen, Death is slain!
He lead Hell captive and bound it in chains.
While we were enslaved, He broke our bonds,
He lifted the curse, and forgave our wrongs.

The women came to the tomb in tears,
The archangel announced in cheer:
"Why do you seek the living among the dead?
You look for our Lord the Living Bread.
Hear the angels sing aloud -
'Our Lord trampled death and life abounds.'
Christ is Risen, do not fear,
Truly He is Risen, He is not here.
Tell the Apostles He broke the chains,

The Saviour's death has set us free,
new life He gave in His great mercy.
