Took a trip out to far west Texas during my Thanksgiving break, and felt the need to write. Been battling loneliness & my emotions have been all over the place... this is a song for those who are apart from loved ones (near or far) wishing they'd know how much you love & miss them.

Wrote a song for the new year of 2019. Resolutions can be daunting. It's easy to get discouraged... I wrote this song to describe just that. The lyrics talk about how easy it is to lose to a list of resolutions. But upon further reflection, I don't think it's possible to have a perfect year. All of us are just human, trying to be the best we can be.

A word of advice to those trying to have the best year ahead of them: just be intentional with every single thing you do, each & every single day. Don't worry about tasks or projects, but find peace with yourself that you're doing the best you can. Feed your soul with things that bring you life & joy & pursue relationships honestly. 

It is currently the middle of February & I've had the best month & a half of my life with this shift in my mindset & believe that you all can be the best you can be as well!
