Requiem In Terror

Geez, it took too long to churn out another song. But here you go.

What started as another attempt at a cheesy horror song, such as Requiem in Terror, ended up turning into this. I've always found the moon to be a mysterious, and media where the moon has a mysterious influence, such as in Persona 3 and Bloodborne, have always kept me curious and interested in the celestial object. I guess I've always been interested in things in outer space...you can kind of tell by some of the titles of my songs. Haha!

Hope you guys enjoy it. Feedback is much appreciated, as are notes for improvement. And headphones...always headphones.

Beneath The Mysterious Moonlight

If you're stranded in a dark alley with the Grim Reaper at one exit and Jack the Ripper at the other, what would you do? Try to run or accept your fate? Either way, you're screwed. Haha!

For all things 2spoopy4me this Halloween season, I came up with this. This track combines elements of Beneath the Mysterious Moonlight and Requiem in Terror, which I don't consider to be a bad thing. While the song itself may not be that scary, it may fit in with the spookiness of the season in an ironic way. I still don't know what that means.

Feedback is much appreciated! And please, stay safe this Hallow's Eve. Don't get sick on a candy overdose, either. Haha!

Another song! The game jam is keeping me busy!

This one more accurately reflects the theme of the game jam I'm doing. The theme is "classic horror," like 1980's cheesy zombie movies and Dracula and whatnot. I like to do Halloween music every so often, too, so this definitely assists the theme. The name "Dreaded Vestige" came about as another way to think about a ghost, or at least some kind of horrifying situation. I think it works, to say the least.

But yeah, a bit of late-night inspiration created this piece. As the name implies, maybe someone would be escaping from something, or maybe someone would be hunting something else. The situation could swing both ways, but it tries to invoke a feeling of overall dread in its tones. Or maybe I'm imagining shit and am losing my edge. I dunno. Enjoy it either way, though!
