TOWNSHIP REBELLION level up once again, sharing ‘The Neverending Story’, their stunning fourth EP on Truesoul.The powerhouse duo is back, this time arriving on Truesoul for their maiden solo offering, following elite collaborations with Victor Pilava (‘Bohemia / Mephisto’), NoNameLeft (‘Expand Now / Adriana Said’) and Flanko (Your Reality / My Prophecy).

Active since 2012, there’s a sense the German producers / DJs get better with every release, crafting immersive journeys marked by cinematic sound design and groove-ridden dancefloor sensibilities. ‘The Neverending Story’ epitomises this approach. ‘Mockingbird’ is a blissful end-of-night burner, marked by humming b-lines and lush multi-layered synths – a prog classic-in-the-making. Like its mythological title, ‘Hades&Persephone’ is a study in darkness vs light, as rugged percussive layers and full-bodied drums build an atmospheric brew before the track takes a divine uplifting turn.

This one-tracker is a drum-heavy workout, employing some juicy sub bass to contain the tribal groove and persistent hi-hat that leads the way. This simplistic desire, to strip things down to their most raw element, led DJ 3000 to create the Jrums label. Established as an outlet for more dance floor centric productions that have fallen outside of his Motech Records label, Jrums is DJ3000’s laboratory for creating raw, analog, non-ethnic influenced compositions.

To make a long story short...  

Here are some facts about me.

I'm a producer, soundmaker, parttime dj and mostly, a musical enthusiast.  

My musical taste ranges from old tracks of James Brown, Zapp and Funkadelic, through to Beastie Boys, Redman and 90's hiphop ... and all the way to Adam F, Filla Brazillia and Roni Size... to name a few.   

I believe If a track is really good, it will move your feet and make your head bob to the beat --> even if its 100 years old.   YES    :))

Artists like Kraftwerk, Huan Atkins, Ken Ishi, Moodyman... They weren't bothered by the financial outcome when they started doing "their thing". 
Have a go and check out their "old" stuff on Youtube... You'll see what I mean    ;)
