I’m really happy to share the next Deep Mind Music today, from my friend Adam Pits. A calming and serene entry, listening to this mix feels like floating on your back in a cool lake on a hot day. A quenching refreshment for a frazzled mind 🩵

The mix wanders gently through slowly morphing landscapes. The soft twitter of birdsong brings us to a dusk dappled forest, warm drones coaxing us further inwards in a lackadaisical swirl. Toward the end of the mix we are uplifted by luminescent arpeggios which draw rainbow trails through the sky above 🍃☀️🌿

I sense in Adam’s selections and musical approach a shared sensitivity to the innate emotive undertones of music, as well as sounds which have an inherent depth and vitality to them. I hope you enjoy listening to this meditative mix as much as I have 🪶

DILI (Song by Luna Ersahin Bülow, arranged and produced by Basil Hogios)

Based on  material from theatrical production of How To Train Your Dragon Live. Basil composed a third of the score, together with music he edited from John Powell's score from the film, and music from Jonsi (Sigur Ros). Recorded in Iceland at Sundlaugin studios, it features string players from the Reykjavik Symphony Orchestra, Schola Cantorum Choir (as heard in Bjork's music), musicians who work with Jónsi, Sigur Rós & Múmm, Amiina, and co-produced by Alex Somers (Riceboy Sleeps).

Pavel Muabi begin 1997 in Octamed Sound Studio on Amiga Commodore as unknown project THR.

As a deejay under his pseudonym, he played various ambient genres of music at festivals. He has also tried different variations of audio software and music creation hardware over the years.
