Something a bit different for my latest mix, going into the 2000s for the first time with a 02-04 UK Hardcore mix.  This was a golden era for the genre, which had by this point dropped the "Happy" label, with a focus on more of an energetic hard trance sound.

1994 breakbeat/happy hardcore mix vol. 1

1995 was the year when the kick drum became more prominent in hardcore, as DJs began incorporating the Scott Brown/Dutch sound into their tunes/sets.  However there was still lots of breakbeat hardcore being made, and this is a mix of tunes from UK producers which all make use of the breakbeat.  Hope you enjoy!

Latest mix is 1992 old skool hardcore, I tend to play more darker "jungle tekno" styles sets from this era, but perhaps as a response to lockdown I am currently on a happier vibe!  Lots of pianos in this one and quite a few classics with the odd more obscure tune thrown in every now and again.

90's loving dj, playing hardcore (90-93) jungle/drum & bass (94 - 01) happy hardcore (94-99) and UK hardcore (02-05)

All mixes are non-edited and recorded on my trusty (albeit slightly battered) Technics 1200s and Pioneer DJM-300S mixer.
