After something of a hiatus, Asia Music is proud to bring you an exciting three-track EP from Milu Grutta and Möbel Schulz. 

Sonic journeyman Milu Grutta brings over 20 years of live performances across multiple genres. A committed collaborator, he has worked with everyone from Adil Smaali to Christian Vivano. A big fan of granular synthesis and micro-editing, his music is textured and deceptively complex.

Complimenting Milu's passion for pushing boundaries, Berlin-based Schulz is a hidden gem of the local underground scene. He is renowned for his meshing of styles and textures to create new and interesting hybrid sounds. A musical dynamo, he has a background in engineering and has incredible drumming skills. 

Opening with Maps, glitchy percussion and randomized FX draw you in. Laying down a thick minimal groove, the track straddles that house and techno line with dark ambition. Full of tension the build towards the main break is ominous and cleverly hypnotic. A secret weapon for the late night floors that will do serious damage. 

Next up, Petit King opts for a more traditional deep house leaning. Bass-driven with trippy sonics this is one heavy tribal vibe with arms aloft e-moments. 

Finally, The After Life rounds out the pack with a joyous, life-affirming warmth. More melodic than the others, it captivates the mind and body in the most delightful way.

Up next on Asia Music: the label debut of DJ and producer Kris Melendres.

Canadian with Filipino roots, Kris turned a period of global stillness into a creative awakening—diving headfirst into music production during the pandemic. Since then, his releases on Sayaw Records have consistently climbed their charts, reflecting a dedication that's as focused as it is funky.

Leading the release is DTMB, where Kris showcases his love for vibrant percussion and rubbery, infectious basslines. Built around rich grooves and standout breakdowns, it's a deep, rhythmic roller laced with warmth and movement.

Next, Take Me Back turns up the tempo with a jazzy, 90s-inspired flair. Playful, soulful, and effortlessly cool, it struts straight onto the dance floor with laid-back swagger and feel-good energy.

Closing out the release is Cosmic Jiggle, a nod to old-school vibes with a modern twist. Crisp drums, bouncing bass, and smooth keys come together for a final jam that keeps the groove alive and the party moving.

Pav, originally from the UK is signed with Plastic City, Over Recordings, Electronic Tree and Asia Music with a growing number of quality releases including remixes for Celestial Recordings and Bass Works Recordings and charting twice in the top 10 of the whatpeopleplay.com House charts in 2013 and 2014. He has also featured on quite a few compilations alongside many great names.

As a DJ, Pav can take it anywhere within the realms of House and Techno as long as it's underground and it is with this that he has built a reputation as one of Manila's finest DJs. He likes to keep his sets deep, dark and dirty!

In addition to his DJing and producing, Pav is co-owner of Asia Music, an Asia based underground House and Techno label.
