Josiane, geboren im Kongo und heute mit eigenem Modelabel (Roboam) in Berlin zuhause, bringt den Dancefloor zum schwingen. Schon bei unserer letzten Mikromal Clubnight hat sie mit ihrem energiegeladenen Sound begeistert – jetzt legt sie nach: Ein mitreißender Mix, der rhythmisch vibriert, Tempo hat und gleichzeitig wunderbar rund klingt. Zwischen Disco-Flair und Minimal-House-Tiefe spannt Josiane einen eleganten Bogen, der zum bewegen einlädt und zum Träumen verführt. Percussive Elemente und warme Flächen fließen organisch ineinander, während subtile Übergänge und treibende Beats das Set voranbringen. Kein Ton zu viel, kein Moment zu wenig – nur pure, tanzbare Beats. Ein Mix, der nicht nur Körper, sondern auch Geist in Bewegung bringt – charmant, dynamisch, absolut on point. When the music, the crowd, and I merge into one—during euphoric highs as well as emotional moments—there’s this special energy exchange. It gives me goosebumps and the biggest smile on my face. I’m usually a bit shy and focused behind the decks, but in those moments, I deeply feel why I do this.

I’ve prepared another music special for you – the first hour will be all about vinyl records from Ex-Yugoslavia that I found on my last trip to Belgrade. It is featuring records released on Jugoton, Jugodisc –before 1981 know as Beograd Disc – and RTB „Radio-Televiiiiizija Beograd“ another state-owned record company that existed during the period of socialist Yugoslavia – the label changed it’s name to RTS afte 1992 when it changed to Radio-television of Serbia. It's a classy Frinda selection, ranging from folk and jazz-rock over balearic synth pop to library and disco-funk (from the late 70s to mid 90s)

My guest for the show is Tom Sky of Sound Essence, and he calls the mix he recorded for me "Cosmic Visions" – featuring Kraut, wave, NDW – it’s a bit more on the experimental side and sounds a bit like a freaky intergalactic radio play from time to time. Cosmic Visions is also the main track of the upcoming cosmic kraut LP „Spakling-Sound-Rock“ by R&S Band on Tom’s label Sound Essence, which is gonna be released in July. You're getting a sneak peak here as the first track of his mix the main track of the LP.

Matt Edwards and multifaceted artist Patrick Mason team up as SRVD with debut release entitled ‘ELEVATE’ dropping on Rekids this August. 

Whether as Radio Slave or his various other monikers, Matt Edwards is one of electronic music’s most consistent and innovative artists. Ever since his early reinterpretations of Kylie Minogue and New Order, Edwards has continually commanded respect as a producer and in-demand remixer, whilst as a label owner his Rekids imprint is undoubtedly one of house and techno’s most influential platforms. 

Meanwhile, Patrick Mason continues to conquer the fashion world; a devout club kid and gifted creative turning heads as an outstanding art director, illustrator and model, whose extensive artistic talents include a unique and compelling voice destined for dancefloors. 

SRVD’s story begins when the pair met in Panorama Bar, which soon led to Edwards and Mason hanging out at the studio and later evolved into improvised performances in Berlin’s club scene and beyond. ‘ELEVATE’ perfectly captures the raw spirit and vibe of their live show, with whispering vocals ushering in precision kicks and piercing stabs until Mason’s mesmerising voice comes fully into play. 

An homage to the New York vogue scene and a huge hit at Panorama Bar - where the pair have set the house on fire with three unannounced shows so far this year - ‘NASTY’ is a syncopated, bass-driven monster of a cut complete with infectious claps and metallic effects.

Pawas Gupta (known professionally as Pawas) is an Indian-born DJ and electronic music producer based in Berlin. With a classical foundation, particularly training on the tabla and self-taught skills in percussion, bass guitar, and keyboards, he began his DJ career in India at age 17. In 2004, he relocated to Europe, rapidly establishing himself in Germany’s electronic scene.

Transitioning into music production, Pawas made a strong entry in 2007 with the release "Katang" . Since then, he’s released popular tracks like Det (with Daso), Playtex EP, Bummelzug, Piano Rain, Naja (with Arooj Aftab) and Camel blues, on respected labels including Spectral Sound, Connaisseur, Squonk, Get Physical and Night Drive Music. Many of these have been supported by heavyweights such as Dubfire, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Marc Romboy, Jimpster, and Satoshi Tomiie. 

His signature sound fuses melodies, musicianship, atmospheric textures, deep house, and Detroit-influenced grooves—what he calls intelligent house. Pawas’s musical journey bridges his roots in classical Indian music with his experiences as an independent producer in Germany
