It is about time for Pawas Gupta to release his very first own EP on Kaato Music. After beeing in contact with label head Björn Wilke for such a long time, worldwide gigs together, his fantastic remix for Franksen in 2012, which was released on Kaato Music 036 and last but not least because he is one of Björns favourite producers from the Cologne area. His three track EP „Bareback“, which he produced with Daso Franke, is all about deep and harmonic grooves, always on the right spot between pushy deep house and laid back lounge grooves.

When Henrik Schwarz heard the music from Johannes Brecht he knew now was the time to reactivate his label SUNDAY-MUSIC again that hasnt released a record in quite a while now. Johannes is a wonderful musician that plays bass and keyboards and also writes music for orchestra. When a classically trained musician looks into electronic music and manages to bring together the best of both worlds the result can be very exciting. On this EP are 3 tracks that show his versatility and musicality. HOLLA is a beautiful deep monster with one of those touching synth lines that you dont want to ever stop, PEOPLE is a jacking house track that bursts of energy and BOB shows that Johannes also can leave his fingerprint in a more minimalistic environment.

Not one to revel too much in the limelight, Johannes Brecht prefers to ply his trade in the shadows - fitting for his oceandeep productions. The Stuttgart native marks his first outing on Steve Bug's inimitable Poker Flat Recordings with an exceptionally atmospheric EP sure to make it's mark with the deeper end of the DJ fraternity.

It's been a very promising couple of years for the Brussels based artist noc:turne. Since we were first introduced to his captivating music on a boat party in north London in the summer of 2022 he has gone on to play gigs across Europe, launch a record label 'Lost In Translation' and most recently release a stunning remix on the highly respected Swiss imprint 'Project Indigo'. We're not quite sure where doing an Oleeva Podcast lands on this scale of notable achievements, but he's done one nonetheless and its quite something. This time we have a special guest. "Soela" played right after me @ the beautiful Meeresrausch-Festival in Peenemunde. After my slot i was really in hurry to bring my recordbag back to my car cause i didn't want to miss any second of her set. I think I only needed 5 minutes to came back to the floor. 
I had a fantastic time. Deep, dubby, and groovy! And now i have the honor to upload 80 minutes of her set. I'm very happy about. Thank you Soela and of course thank you Meeresrausch!

This summer a big dream came true for me. I got the chance to play at the most beautiful festival, Waking Life, for one of my all time favourite crews, Giegling. It still feels super unreal to me 🤪 Having had the chance to put out this magical 3h journey alongside so many of my musical idols was incredibly overwhelming. What a beautiful Sunday morning this was! 😻 I'm so thankful for this experience and super happy to share the recording of it now. I hope you enjoy listening (back) as much as I did playing! 🙏🏼😊

Pawas Gupta (known professionally as Pawas) is an Indian-born DJ and electronic music producer based in Berlin. With a classical foundation, particularly training on the tabla and self-taught skills in percussion, bass guitar, and keyboards, he began his DJ career in India at age 17. In 2004, he relocated to Europe, rapidly establishing himself in Germany’s electronic scene.

Transitioning into music production, Pawas made a strong entry in 2007 with the release "Katang" . Since then, he’s released popular tracks like Det (with Daso), Playtex EP, Bummelzug, Piano Rain, Naja (with Arooj Aftab) and Camel blues, on respected labels including Spectral Sound, Connaisseur, Squonk, Get Physical and Night Drive Music. Many of these have been supported by heavyweights such as Dubfire, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Marc Romboy, Jimpster, and Satoshi Tomiie. 

His signature sound fuses melodies, musicianship, atmospheric textures, deep house, and Detroit-influenced grooves—what he calls intelligent house. Pawas’s musical journey bridges his roots in classical Indian music with his experiences as an independent producer in Germany
